33cL bottle. Poured a clear, dark brown with an off-white head. Sweet aroma of molassas. Smooth taste and similar to Westy 8 but slightly less complex. It hid its alcohol well too. Recommend trying this beer.

Bottle enjoyed at the Hop & Vine... Poured deep, cloudy, maroon with a thick, retaining, tan head. Aroma of cloves, spices, malt, and candy-like yeast. Foamy textered while leaning on the dry side. Malty, earthy, ground pepper-ish, with caramel and toffee sweetness for balance and a smooth alcohol-sweet finish.

Slightly oxidized aroma supported with notes of chocolate and fig. Cloudy brown with a loose tan head. Full flavored with cocoa, yeast, malt, dates. Mild, soft finish. Nice.

Red-brown in color. Head is tan and initially very large, but is mostly diminishing. Lacing is heavy and sticky. Tiny, steady bubbles constantly stream from the center of glass. Delicious aroma: raisin, date, plums, gingerbread, watermelon and caramel. Prunes, caramel and some alcohol in the flavor. Moderately carbonated. Tingly, medicinal and cool finish. Very delicious.

Bottle. Pours a thick hazy brown color with a tan head. The beer has a very caramel and dark fruit aroma, heavy on the malts. The flavor is caramel, fruit, and something I just can’t put my finger on. The alcohol is noticeable. This beer is one of the more complex that I’ve had in recent months.

Plums and brown sugar dominate the flavor. Smells like cherries and other fruits. Pretty decent beer - mild and easy to drink.
