4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours with a creamy, lasting head. Color, like weak coffee. Unbelievable aromas, starting chilled from the fridge with nice fresh hops, and bready malt, warming and evolving to include, vanilla, some chocolate, fruits, mainly banana and cocoanut, also sour mash whiskey. Nice roasted malt flavor, less complex than the aroma, but nice - sweet, fruity, lightly bitter with come coffee and a noticeable alcohol presence. Really, really nice though not as luscious in the mouth as the Westy/Rocheforts these St Bernardus beers have been compared to.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Flesje 33cl tht 16 jul 2018. Alles is mooi in balans. Afdronk is licht bitter in de keel.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Appearance: Dark, rich, nutty brown-red, large white head, not a large amount of retention.
Aroma: Figs, dates, raisins, burnt caramel, toffee, brown sugar, sweet malts, hints of chocolate, and, chocolate malt, very slight hints of vanilla.
Palate: Full bodied and heavily carbonated.
Taste: Figs, dates, raisins, burnt caramel, toffee, rich sweet malt, banana, slight bitterness in the finish, but overall rich, sweet, and, complex, Michael Jackson once referred to Fullerís Golden Pride as the "Cognac of Beers", I think the title is more fitting to this beer.
Overall: Absolutely gorgeous, complex, rich, sweet, reminiscent of Cognac in elements of the flavour and the level of complexity, lovely stuff this.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours brown & bubbly. Aroma is odd: I canít quite place it but Mrs Tiki says it reminds her of a mechanicís garage (she assures me this is a good thing). Flavour is a trip to the candy shop: melted rock candy meets dried fruit with a malt twang that hides some of the sugar. A great sipper. Bottle pulled from 6 pack sampler at the LCBO. Recommend.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a deep hazy brown aroma of raisins and prunes with some rummy notes. Flavor has more of the rummy notes, some acidity and raisiny fruitiness. Delicious beer.
