Smells like a spicey plum. Nice dark dirty brown color. The plum scent tastes more like a spicey licorice stick or rasin with a little bitterness. ABV is very well hidden, good beer.

Flaska från Savuer Biere. Smak och doft av humle, malt, torkad frukt, honung, brunt socker, karamell med örtiga toner. Lagom sötma, lätt kropp, fin beska.

11.2 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured reddish dark brown, big foamy off white head and lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts, the typical Belgian yeast and fruits. Taste is of malts, dark fruit and yeast; alcohol is pretty well hidden. Very good beer, highly enjoyable.

Pours an opaque dark red -- color really only visible against the light. Three fingers of dense, packed foam that’s slow to settle and settles unevenly. Aroma is super rich dark fruits -- fig, prune, raisin, cherry, silan. Taste is sweet up front, same dark fruits, hints of toffee, with some sourness on the back. Delicious. Copious lacing, medium body, active carbonation.

Very good beer. It was a little sweet, but not as bad as some of the Unibroue products I’ve had so far. No aftertaste. No harsh flavours. Will purchase again in the Christmas mixer pack. MB

From a 330ml bottle on 1/4/2015. Pours a cloudy brown, with a big off white head. The flavour features lots of dark fruit (plums, prunes, cherries), caramel, fruit cake, spice, yeast, and a gentle bitterness at the end. The palate in quite creamy and the carbonation lively. Pleasant enough drinking if a touch bland.
