redish brown color, malty rum raisiny nose. Big malt flavor, biscuit/candi sugar and port like. I did not detect any sourness, and it’s a perfect beer on a cold winter night. my favorite from saint bernard.

St-Bernardus Prior 8% Served in a tulip it is a dark plum brown with a sense beige head and a bready Graham and rich fruity stone fruit aroma. Medium to full bodied with a dry finish. The taste is stone fruits (figs, plums, apricots), rich caramel, bread pudding with a dry woodsy finish. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.33 bottle. A clear, dark brown color with a medium, off-white head. Aroma has a strong backbone of dark malts with additions of sugar, wood, fruits, and hints of coriander. Taste is sweet, malty, sugary - alright. A medium body, a creamy texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is long, sweet, and represents a good combination of malty and yeasty characters. Overall the beer is simply good, nothing to it.
