750ml bottle - $10.49 at Bullock’s Wine & Spirits in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours out a delicately hazed, pale honey-hued body with a tall, white crown of suds. Little bits of lace on the way down.

Smell: Soft wheat aroma, lightly bready with mild notes of sliced apples, banana, fresh-cut flowers, lemon zest, and spicy yeastiness. Razor thin sliver of perfumy alcohol.

Taste: Honey-brushed, bready wheat malt and pils. Big gulp of apple juice. Then, light, likable tastes of florals, bruised banana, citrus, and spicy, peppery phenols run together making up the bulk of the flavor present. Modestly musky yeastiness, particularly on the later pours picking up the lees at the bottom. Drying, wheat-laced, smooth-yet-sudsy finish with just the tiniest amount of alcohol warmth.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-high carbonation.

Overall: Is there even any citrus peel and spice in here? Sure doesn’t seem like it. Not that I minded, as I found it to be an exceedingly drinkable, quaffable beer wheat ale.

Countbeer (4065) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle: Medium sized fluffy and slowly settling down white head. A full hazy to murky yellow to oramge colored beer. Aromas of bread, (carbo) gass, wheat, yeast, dough, citrus, nettle, hint of cream, some malts and yeasty herbs. Flavours of wheat, yeast, dough, light to medium bitterness, herbs, floral, touch of floral fruityness, some grains, not deep but creamy balanced. Nice soft smooth creamy beer. Aftertaste is wheat, some floral tones, yeast and grainy wheat. Low to medium carbo, soft foamy mouthfeel, slight medium body and a creamy texture. Quite basic, but a bit different still a decent beer.

750ml bottle, caged & corked. Batch 1, February 3rd, 2012. Pours very cloudy. Orange rust water color, pink hued, thick cream that never leaves of tiny bubbles. Soft aroma of malts, some citrus like aromas. Very thin, creamy mouthfeel, not much carbonation. Feels like a nitro pour of a Wit. Very herbal hop character, soft wheat body. Very simple, overall. Soft wheat character, simple bitter herb finish. (3623)
