| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 12, 2009 Pours a slightly cloudy orange-tan, like weak iced tea. Great stable head, initially about a finger, that retains very nicely and coats the palate.
Aroma of yeast, nutmeg, and citrus. Initial spicy punch of flavor, followed by a shot of pepper, and finishing with flowery citrus. Parket (238), Bruges, Belgium
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 7, 2009 bottle, unclear orange/yellow colour, absolutely very nice white head! Smells yeasty, alcohol, fruity. taste: quite fruity, subtile sweet, alcohol. I also taste very nice melons in the aftertaste. Just another great product from st Bernard! I don’t know what the best tripel is in the world, but I’m sure this would be a good candidate RHeastings (392), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 6, 2009 Enjoyed via 11.2 oz bottle in tulip glass. Pours a medium yellow to light golden color. Nice long-lasting white head. Nose of subtle dark fruits and some spices. Palate is slightly malty and slightly fruity; a great balance that is difficult to pin down and difficult to find in all but the finest tripels, especially state-side. Yeast-derived notes remind me a lot of the yeast from Westmalle or Rochefort. A splendid medium-dry finish ends the drinking experience. Easily up there with the best tripels I’ve had. gabbama (115), Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 4, 2009 Cloudy golden color with a large off-white head. Nice aroma of sweet oranges and some spice. Flavor follows the aroma with some wheat and yeast. Alcohol comes through on the finish. Overall, a pretty good tripel. MoDog (915), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 2, 2009 11.2oz bottle (Best before 22 04 11) and served in a tulip. This tripel poured a hazy golden orange with a thick head of slowly fading off-white foam. Decent lacing. The aroma included orange peel, light candi sugar, lemon, honey, and some spicy yeast esters. The flavor had orange and lemons, light graham cracker, and also some warming alcohol. Somewhat bland. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and had moderate carbonation. Pretty average as far as tripels go. Just okay. dimenhetfield (173), , Florida, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 19, 2009 Poured from big bottle. Aroma of orange, cake and raisin. Cloudy golden, seafoam head. Uh oh -
major sediment floating around in there. Flavors of orange, angel food cake, banana, spice,
pepper. Alcohol in back. Highly drinkable. Still, the sediment makes this look like a science
experiment. Finished OK, with alcohol more apparent, but I poured the last inch of the bottle into the garden to avoid the sediment.
