This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Bottle. Light unclear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, fruity, citrus, light caramel, moderate yeasty, light toffee and alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. (160408)

A very fine brew! The aroma was nice, with a banana smell, some sweet fruits, and some medium-sweet malt. It had a golden-light brown body, with a nice finger thick head. The flavor was very nice, with a nice balance of mild-sweet fruit, yeast, and mild malts. It was extremely smooth. A fine delight.

Draft at the Great Lost Bear in Portland - Poured a hazy orange-amber in color with a small white head that faded to a thin rim around the glass. Aroma is of flowery hops with lots of yeast and fruity esters. Flavor is also much of bready yeast, caramel, lots of fruit (citrus, apple?) and a nice hint of pepper at the end. A very good beer!

Opaque dirty blonde body with a lot of suspended yeast. Cream colored head that has good retention. Floral, fruity, hoppy aroma. Delicious fruit flavors finish each sip but yeast and sweet malt are the mainstays. Pepper appears late. Alcohol is tasted it is more felt via warming. Good effervescence and mild bitterness. There are few tripels better than this one.

wonderful tripel, between the 8% ABV and the delicoius taste of fruits, malts, and nuts, this was a great tripel. Very well made and very fun to drink.

Pours a cloudy sunburst golden with a medium frothy fine white foam on top. Sweet fruity, nutty aroma malty aroma. Sweet fruity Belgian flavor with some light nuttiness. Pepper and lots of alcohol in the finish. Light, very fluffy body, with some better than average, but not stellar, carbonation. As far as Tripels go this is a good one... and I really don’t like Tripels =)

Interesting Tripel. 11.2 oz bottle from Total Wine. It poured a caramel brown color with a nice frothy head with a ton of effervescent carbonation. The aroma is of light sour fruit with caramel(?) and honey. The flavor delivers all that with a hint of sour in the finish. Good stuff.
