The aroma was nice, with a banana smell, some sweet fruits, and some medium-sweet malt. It had a golden-light brown body, with a nice finger thick head. The flavor was very nice, with a nice balance of mild-sweet fruit, yeast, and mild malts. It was extremely smooth. A fine delight. VTHopHead (897), Barre, Vermont, USA

Aroma is of flowery hops with lots of yeast and fruity esters. Flavor is also much of bready yeast, caramel, lots of fruit (citrus, apple?) and a nice hint of pepper at the end. A very good beer! note666 (282), Eindhoven, Netherlands

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 25, 2008 Opaque dirty blonde body with a lot of suspended yeast. Cream colored head that has good retention. Floral, fruity, hoppy aroma. Delicious fruit flavors finish each sip but yeast and sweet malt are the mainstays. Pepper appears late. Alcohol is tasted it is more felt via warming. Good effervescence and mild bitterness. There are few tripels better than this one. Brewer101 (162), New Jersey, USA

Light, very fluffy body, with some better than average, but not stellar, carbonation. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 18, 2008 Interesting Tripel. 11.2 oz bottle from Total Wine. It poured a caramel brown color with a nice frothy head with a ton of effervescent carbonation. The aroma is of light sour fruit with caramel(?) and honey. The flavor delivers all that with a hint of sour in the finish. Good stuff.
