Brewer101 (162), New Jersey, USA May 24, 2008 wonderful tripel, between the 8% ABV and the delicoius taste of fruits, malts, and nuts, this was a great tripel. Very well made and very fun to drink. 17thfloor (1402), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 19, 2008 Pours a cloudy sunburst golden with a medium frothy fine white foam on top. Sweet fruity, nutty aroma malty aroma. Sweet fruity Belgian flavor with some light nuttiness. Pepper and lots of alcohol in the finish. Light, very fluffy body, with some better than average, but not stellar, carbonation. As far as Tripels go this is a good one... and I really don’t like Tripels =) markwise (1132), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA May 18, 2008 Interesting Tripel. 11.2 oz bottle from Total Wine. It poured a caramel brown color with a nice frothy head with a ton of effervescent carbonation. The aroma is of light sour fruit with caramel(?) and honey. The flavor delivers all that with a hint of sour in the finish. Good stuff. VitaminR (421), Colorado, USA May 16, 2008 Sour fruit nose, some honey clove spice present. Nectary pearl orange-gold color, huge frothy head with great lacing. Caramel/vanilla/clove spicy syrupy sweetness, great bitter to slight tartness that creates perfect balance. Tight effervescent carbonation, finish is long and has a nice little burn of alcohol at the very end. A excellent Tripel. Ober (1158), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands May 13, 2008 Alittle hazy golden colored beer, with a nice foamed white head. It has an aroma of fruits, spices like coriander and malts. It’s complex. The taste is complex as well. There are fruits, citrus, spicey, with a little bitter in the back. It sparkles in your mouth. A very nice triple.
