davidflores99 (225), Long Beach, California, USA Feb 10, 2008 Very nice tripel, nice white head, sweet aroma with spice. Flavor is nice as well, spicey, sweet and smooth. I love this brewerys stuff. Shane087 (26), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Feb 9, 2008 Poured with a nice white head. Initially very yeasty but opened up after a few minutes. Nice carmel sweetness. Less fruit and spice tones than the ABT 12 but still very good. marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Feb 8, 2008 This amber ale poured with a decent beige head and a sweet malty aroma. The flavor is caramel malt with a carbonated mouthfeel and a candy sugar finish. Very much up to the standards of this great brewery. redgold07 (308), Irving, Texas, USA Feb 8, 2008 Quite good and very easy to drink. Aroma is of malt, lemon, yeast, and alcohol. Pours a clear golden color with a frothy white head. Flavor is of light caramel, very sweet, with a little lemon, slight alcohol presence, and a tiny bit spicy.
1 pt. 9.4 oz. bottle, caged and corked. AmEricanbrew (1747), Louisiana, USA Feb 7, 2008 Clear pale amber with a rocky white head, good lacing. Has a peppery, spicy, yeasty smell. Super smooth foamy mouthfeel with a medium body. Lots to taste here with black pepper, salt, spicy, earthy yeast and dusty pale malts. Finishes on the dry side. (Rating #1455) pforei (338), USA Feb 5, 2008 Light orange with yellow and red tinge. A little hazy with tiny sediment dots. Good head. Nice honey, apple, caramel, toasty, and yeast aroma. Mild spicyness on taste and finish. Only a hint of alcohol. Soft and light palate leaving a quickly dissolving light honey coating on the tongue. Not just ompletely unoffensive but sublimely pleasant. craftbeerdesign (731), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Feb 3, 2008 11.2 oz. bottle... pours a deep golden with a thick white head. some citrus and spicy aromas, but not as pronounced as I would like in a Tripel. nice medium body that seems to be quite even over the palate. full of citrus fruit flavors. overall a very good Belgian Tripel... but not one of my favorites. I was expecting a bit more out of this beer.
