| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2007 This was rather disapointing I had just expected more of this. The aroma is rather boring for a tripel, a bit of yeast and alcohol. The flavor is of alcohol, with a tint of fruit and a bitter aftertaste. After some time you can taste the fruit better and it gets better for each zip. jarspag (593), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Bottle. prob one of my favorite tripels to date - i haven’t had too many because they are just not my style of beer. hints of fruits, vanilla, lots of yeast, and some spice. really not too bad - similar traits in mouthfeel to the other st. bernardus brews. but in the end, give me the 12 anyday!!! scanovajr (361), Stanford, California, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Sep 21, 2007 From the bottle. Pours with a cloudy, hazy golden colour. Decent fruity flavour. Where this one loses points for me is in the palate, It has a wicked aftertaste that just lingers on and on. FLnative80 (174), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Bottle. 1 pt. 9.4 fl. oz. A hazy, golden yellow color with sudsy, white head. Floral aroma of lemon and yeast. Light to medium body with slightly oily texture. Flavor is sweet spice and malt, then sour wheat and citrus with a dry finish. I was a bit let down by the flavor after such a nice aroma, but overall still a quality brew. Stefano (1326), Esbjerg, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Golden with foamy white head, decent lacing. Yeasty and floral hoppy aroma with touches of fruit and spiced clove. Wheaty and yeasty to taste, with peppery, bread, banana, vanilla, fruit flavors, dancing with a floral hoppy background. A smooth, well balanced tripel, with a delicate and complex body. Nice example of the style.
