This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Bottle: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a huge white head with some lacing. Aroma is slightly spicy with some banana notes. Taste is quite mild, very smooth. Would guess this was only 3 or 4 ABV, nicely hidden. Very little aftertaste.

Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, biała, sycząca, szybko opada do centymetrowej warstewki, barwa ciemno złota, mętna, piwo ładnie bąbelkuje. Aromat typowo triplowy, belgijski, z przyjemnymi brzoskwiniami, landrynkami, kwiatami i ziołami, delikatnym siankiem oraz szarlotką. Bardzo orzeźwiający i przyjemny. W smaku analogicznie, odczuwalna słodycz winogronowo-ananasowa, szczątkowa kwaskowość pomarańczy, troszkę kolendry, czerwonego pieprzu i rozgrzewającego alkoholu. Kontra chmielowa delikatna, bardziej likierowo-szampanowa z dość wysokim perlistym nagazowaniem. Klasyka.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Pours straw yellow with a big white head. Smell of banana, belgian yeast esters, clove, grassy hops, light malts, floral hops. Medium sweet, honey, grass, alot of light malts, hints of alcohol. Moderate bitter, grassy finish. A very fine tripel

Hazy golden colour, good head, some laceand sediments. Floral aroma, with some spices and fruits, coriander, cloves, dough, sugar. Medium to full body, sticky and oily palate. Taste is sweet, with cloves and coriander too, some toffee, candy, with a good alcoholic finish.

Greenish yellow, hazy. Light to medium body, flat mouthfeel, low carbonation and alcohol heat, weak flavor, thin texture, bland finish. Low bitterness, off dry, low acidity, not well balanced. Disappointing, didn't help that I had after a big Imperial IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33 cl bottle from Špunka in Tallinn (€ 3.00). Pale, hazy amber colour, mmmmassive off-white head with rather good retention. Nose: lemon biscuits, Belgian yeast, malts. Taste: refreshing malts and Belgian yeast, white bread and dough, clove, hay, alcoholic warmth. Faint bitterness. Would say it’s around 8% only in the finish. Carbonation modest, body medium. I may not be a Tripel fan but I remember having much better ones. Bernardus’ Prior 8 was similarily rather well made and in some way enjoyable, but damn dull and simple. Good for purists maybe.

Ben carbonata, corpo medio.

Pours bright blonde with a long white head. Nose is typical tripel and bursting with fruit, coriander, and alcohol. Flavor is complex and really pushes a sweet breadiness to the front, though the hops and bitter peels do some out decently on the backside to counterbalance. Finish is long and dry but a bit sticky. Good stuff.
