This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Aromas of shortbread, flowers, granny smith apples, coconut, and melon. Hazy, pale apricot, with a mostly lasting, white head. The taste contains very little sweetness, with hints of butter cookies and subtle fruity flavors, and dries up very quickly with light, earthy hop bitterness. Medium-full body, very creamy and smooth with spicy overtones, and finishes quite abruptly, leaving behind soft, dry, malty notes. This is a beer that offers so much throughout all of the brilliantly subtle nuances, and maintains such clarity on the palate; one of the most refreshing beers I have ever had, despite all of the fascinating complexity.

From 33cl bottle, poured into trappist glass

Aroma: bread, herbs, floral, dough, earthy, bubblegum, vanilla,

Appearance: golden, hazy, white foam, frothy, yeast floaties

Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter,

Palate: light to medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation

Overall: Very spicy aroma with lots of distinct Belgiany like aromas. Lots of yeast floaties in the beer after the pour, which gives it a yeasty taste and hazy appearance. Overall, not a bad Tripel and one of the ones that is the standard bearer for most tripels.

33cl bottle as part of a tasting pack. 8% alc.vol. Pours a deep golden colour with a lasting small white head Grapefruit and pears on the nose. Taste is well balanced with a hint of grapefruit, bananas, belgian yeast and ends with pleasantly hoppy finish. Not as dry and bitter as some of the other Belgian tripels (Westmalle, Chimay, or even Duvel) This is definitely a top 3 tripel for me. Recommended.

Bottle. Opaque caramel color with off-white head and substantial lacing. Lemon-lime citrus aroma with coriander notes. Citrus upfront followed by some fruity bitterness and coriander notes with a hint of anise. Long finish. Fine effervescence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sourdough; spicy with a scent similar to the fallen oak leaves in my yard. Not overly bitter but misplaced in this beer. A good Tripel but not in my top ten.

Pours a hazy straw from a bottle with a thick white head with little lacing. Fruity yeast aroma and flavor with some barnyard-y hay, sour/sweet flavor (not too sour). Very well-balanced. Good beer.

Aroma agradável, aparência bege e turva. Sabor balanceado, um pouco tanto frisante e paladar agradável com pequeno amargor em seu final.

Bottle at PaterMarcus. Pours a hazy golden-orange colour, thin white head disappears quickly. Aroma of citrus, herbs, some tangerine, and maybe a bit of caramel. Taste is bitter and fruity, with medium carbonation. A very well balanced, hoppy beer, an enjoyable drink.

0,33 l bottle. Unclear orange in the glass, big white head but not gushing. Belgian yeast and malt on the nose. Taste is grain, malt in combination with belgian yeast. Fruity. Smooth and complex, not too heavy. Some dry sweetness. Very nice!

Gashing after opening the bottle. Huge head, big bubbled. Light gold color of beer. Good dose of bananas in aroma, hints of yeast and cheese. Medium sweetness, low bitterness. Very high carbonation, but it’s quite smooth. Light to medium body.
