Commercial Description:
This beer, with high fermentation, has a pale amber colour and a flowery, fruity taste with a harmonious balance between sweet and sour (8% alcohol content). This beer has a thick and vivid froth and strikes by its balanced taste with a delicate bitterness.

Pours golden with a big foamy white head in the St.Bernardus glassware. Near perfect head retention.Aroma of bubble gum, mangoes, peaches, and cotton candy. Taste is sweet and yeasty with notes of bubble gum, honey, chamomile, and a touch of spicy alcohol. Mouthfeel is light bodied for a tripel, medium bodied on my normal scale. This beer is wispy like a cloudy. Refined and restrained, this beer is incredible.

Pours a nice gold, with a quickly dissappearing head. Bready on the first taste. as it warms, earthy, with a hint of sourness. Alcohol is there, but not dominating. A nice sipping beer and a nice day!

From a slender 33 cl. brown bottle with a best before date on the back label, 26.01.08. Poured a cloudy amber hued orange with a foamy white head that settled into a thin sudsy lacing, small amount of ringed sticking. Aromas of apricots, pears, apples and caramel toffee. Good carbonation and a smooth, creamy full bodied mouthfeel. Nice tripel taste, fruity, apricots and pears, candied sugar, a soft bitterness from the hops, caramelized toffee, the alcohol is a bit spicy, fruity and provides a nice warmth in the palate, and a dryish sugary and bready finish, very good tripel drinkability. This is a dangerously quaffable tripel, one of the better one Belgian tripels.

Wonderful dry hop nose- that belgian style hoppy nose. Thin head. First sip had a strange hint of sourness that was unexpected. Still has the requisite dryness for a tripel.

on tap @ papago...pale white color. sweet yeasty aroma. flavor is very light and mild, mostly yeast and floral honey. there’s a banana flavor on the finish or it’s just the creamy mouth feel which is reminiscent of banana eating. one of a handful of beers that i would not pair with food. it’s too intricate and mild not to be appreciated on its own

Aromas are pretty weak... bread, mild floral hops and a little yeast with some clove/spice in the background. Hazy amber color with a massive foamy head. Flavor is wonderful and it comes together nicely as it blossoms. There is definitely a slight acidic, sour character under the surface, but it is brilliantly balanced by a honey and spice sweetness. Top notch!

(Bottle at Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki, on 2008-09-20) Golden / orange. Hazy. Large quite quickly disappearing white head. Fruity nose with some almonds and salty liquorice aromas. Full bodied palate with little carbonation. Malts, chocolate, salty liquorice, almond, nuts and bitterness in taste. Malty and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. As lively as a lively thing. Very hazy yellowy/orange colour. Head measured in inches, off-white and rocky looking. Aroma is citrus and light spices. Great taste; sweet, spicey and dry, malty and buttery. Great on the palate, smooth and full bodied. Class.
