12/19/14. Draft at the thirsty monk. Slightly spicy and floral nose. Weak head ( not tapped right?). Nice complex mouth with bitter hops nicely balanced against the Belgian yeast and caramel malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy, golden pour with a frothy head. Mild aroma of hops, fruit and something floral. Taste is similar, with a complex but mild mix of citrus, perhaps peach, a little hops, and just enough caramel malt to balance it. I was afraid this would blast my taste buds with too much of everything, especially yeast and spice, but it is very, very well executed.

330ml bottle poured into chalice. Great light sweet fruity aroma. Pours a great hazy Amber yellow gold with a frothy off white head that stays around with great lacing. Tastes very smooth with some fruity notes a slight sourness that is pleasant and just the perfect amount of bitterness at the finish.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy medium amber with a very long-lasting 1/2" white head, full lace cover. Aroma of malt and floral hops. Taste is sweet and sour malt that moves cleanly through the palate to a floral hopped swallow. Then things get interesting: as the hops fade, more and more lightly spiced sweet toffee blooms for a very satisfying finish. An exceptional brew.

Bottle from a St. Bernardus sample pack. Very active as soon as I opened it, pours Amber/ gold with a massive white fluffy head, sheets of cascading lace. Nose is A-typical for the style, sweet, spice, Nobel hops. Tastes light, sweet, the bitterness is light, but the hops stay with you.
