UPDATED: APR 26, 2011 Draft. On at the Happy Gnome. Poured into a 16oz pint glass a clear copper color with a 1 finger tan head that settles to form a nice coaster on top. Nice lace. Very mild sour aroma mixed with a sweet fruit note. More apple fruit flavor forward than anything else. The sourness is extremely mild but drinkable. Reminds me of a cider. No apparent booze notes at all. Medium mouthfeel.
Update: Tod from St. Croix sent me a really nice beermail explaining how this beer came to be both in existence and on tap. He also said the abv was about 6.5%, so it’s much more drinkable than I had originally thought. He also advised that as it continued in age it would even further develop as I sampled it with at only 3 months of age, would love to try again with some age.
