Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jun 30, 2005 Hazy straw body with a solid, good-lacing head. Light aroma with lemon, fresh hay, a yeasty fruitiness, and mild spicing. Light in the mouth, sweet malts, lemon & orange with a tart finish. Why am I using fragments? leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jun 29, 2005 Bottle. Light gold with a small white head of bubbles. Aromas are light and fruity with citrus, yeast and spices. Flavours are light, sweet buttery malts with citrus fruit. Lightly flavoured but still pleasant. pobenohne (504), Northern Liberties, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2005 Draft at the Abbaye. Crystal clear light yellow ale, no head, minimal fizz. Lots of apples - dry, some spice, but I had to keep askiing if this weren’t some cider or cider/ale mix. Light and refreshing for a Sunday brunch. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA Jun 27, 2005 When open and you smell it it has aromas of a balloon.Pours a blonde color with a white head. The ballon aroma didnt mix with the taste.Tatses of citrus fruit with some maltiness.this beer did finish like i was chewing on a balloon. Rockinout (945), Kent, Ohio, USA Jun 13, 2005 Medium golden blonde color, faint white head. Drying green fruits with some lemon in the taste, somewhat hoppy and dry at the finish. aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Jun 1, 2005 The beer pours a beautiful dark gold with a very slight haze. This is topped off by a large, meringue-like head that lasts forever. Slightly spicy yeast aroma and stone fruits like apricot make up much of the aroma. The flavor is fairly malty and lightly sweet. Pretty tasty. WabashMan (798), Noblesville, Indiana, USA May 31, 2005 I found this beer a little better than most raters, but still far from exceptional. Nice (typical) blond color and large head start the brew. Fairly normal odor, and a crisp, refreshing flavor. Some raters found this beer a bit skunky, which could be due to the green bottle (as opposed to the brown in the photo). Mine was fine, and a nice beer. MullMan (1080), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA May 30, 2005 mostly clear blond color, pillowy white head with lacing that lasts. light yeasty sour and citrus aroma. flavor is light musky yeast, lemon rind, wheat grain. crisp snap finish that’s almost metallic, but not quite.
