Commercial Description:
A northwest style India pale ale. Citrusy northwest hops take the center stage of this beer, while the caramel malt background stands to support the bracing bitterness. Brewed with pale, munich, caramel malts, and hopped with four different northwest hop varieties.

On tap. Citrus hop aroma with a caramel malt scent. Amber in color. Flavor starts off good with a nice balanced bitter sweet taste but ends very harsh. Medium body with an average carbonation. Overall just a slightly darker, hopier version of the Pale. Great potential but the harsh finish holds this beer back.

Growler from brewery. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a nice white head, leaves a good lace. Strong citrus pine hop nose. Taste is about the same. Very hop forward with a mild balance of malt in the middle. Finished bitter. Light to medium body, a little resiny. Overall a really good IPA. My favorite from St. Elias so far.
