Botle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Small aroma from darker malts with a tuch of caramell. Huge hoppy taste with big hard bitterness ( could be because I drank it without any aging). Perfect body and nice sweetness in the beer. Small drinkabillity due to its harsh bitterness.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Dark red/brown liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma is malty and hoppy with notes of burnt caramel, grapefruit, toffee, citrus and biscuits. Taste is also malty, toasty/biscuity. Light to medium sweet and medium bitter with some light smoke. Medium bodied with good carbonation. OK Barley wine but nothing spectacular.

Småtrevlig söt doft, spritig söt, maltig smak och en bismak som förstör hela smaken

Bottle 33 cl, SB. Pours slightly murky deep red mahogany with a great beige head leaving some lace. Aroma is weak; malty, bready, fruity and a bit caramel. Flavor is malty, bready, fruity, bitter and perry. Finishes malty bitter. Not a BW imho and I’ll rate the beer as a BW. But a good beer, more like a malty IPA.

Aroma: Sweetish, marmalade, candy, fruity hops and a warming finish. Appearance: Amber colour, no head. Flavour: English IIPA? This is a brew that borders on being a mellow IIPA. Very aromatically hoppy. Not as big a bite as an American style BW, but lots of floral hop notes. Not as thick a maltbase as is the standard either. Very quaffable but a bit light for the style. Mouthfeel: Average. Total: This is in no way a bad brew, all the flavours are pleasant enough, it is just that it is a lightweight that holds it back. Not so sure that this would cellar well either since its best feature is the aromatic hops.
