Bottle. Dark reddish amber with a nice head. Lots of fruity american hops on the nose with lots of sugary caramel and some minty peppery notes with a bit of alcohol sting. Nice. Taste is straight up the american barley wine alley with tropical fruit, sugary toffee and also here some peppery mint and a dash of alcohol. Bigger body with soft carbonation. One of the better from Jessica.

Bottled. A red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, spices, and bread, as well as a bit of alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, caramelish and toasted malty. Solid bitter, herbal and grassy. Bitter and toasted malty. Rather young in flavour.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Some perfumy hops on a bed of caramel. Medium body, heavy caramel, fruit and spices with some perfumy hops leaving a solid bitterness. However still a little "light" for a Barley Wine. 011211

Cunningham (4353) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 1, 2011
UPDATED: MAR 6, 2012 Bottle. Slightly hazy copper colour with a very small head. Sweet and light fruity aroma. The flavour was more hoppy than expected and made this barley wine a nice touch. Not that strong eiher, one of the best barley wine I have tasted.

Kopparfärgad öl med lite vitt skum. Söt doft av frukter och alkohol. Viss kryddighet. Smak av torkad frukt, bränt socker, lätt alkoholvärme.

Orange amber with a small off-white head with big bubbles. The nose is dominated by the malty base with cereal, bread. But there is also a fair amount of fruity hops and dried fruits as well. Quite sweet but bitterness is balancing it nicely. Quite light for a barley wine, but still nicely done.
