Aroma: Smelling of dark bread, red apples, spices, cardamom and vanilla.
Appearance: A deep mahogany brown beer. A high tan head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet dark bread, dark chocolate, coffee and bitter orange marmalade.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A medium body with a slight dry finish.
Overall: Well, I have a cold, but in spite of that there was good aroma and taste in this one.
Note: Bottle 330 ml. Reviewed 2012-12-12.

Small head. Spicy fragrance.Traditinal porter with as smoaky facade. Lots of caramel and roast nuts, dry figs and dark chocolate, but altogether just enough to make a good meal companion with the sturdy christmas food.

Pours a clear deep brown with small frothy light tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, hints of coffee, maybe som spices. Taste is sweet and rounded with a bitterness that builds over time and is at its richest in the fairly long finish. Medium, creamy body. One of the best from St Eriks. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
