Mörk lager som med sina fina rostade toner passar utmärkt till klassisk oktoberfestmat, till exempel schweinshaxe med knödel samt olika smakrika korvar.

Oktoberfest? This is a dunkel, adn a dark one at that. Very dark brown, nice tight tan head. Rich roasty toasty aroma. A little burnt but no astringency in the mough, lovely rich roasty taste. Good dunkel. Smooth palate, gentle carbonation. Sweetish roasty finish, unsurprising after the aroma and taste. Anna says "~~~~~~~~~~~", or that’’;s what my notes say, anyway.

Big tan lasting head. Clear deep brown body. Earthy minty soy sauce aroma with roasty peas notes. Dryish dusty earthy wooden taste with caramelly minty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry dusty earthy roasty aftertaste with spicy minty soy sauce notes. Excellent! Great vivid roasty dusty flavour with excellent harmony and integration. Bottle. Dark (reddish?) brown with a beige head. Aroma: bready, caramel (som juleknäck), malty, spicy, earthy, nutty. Taste: spicy, bitter, burnt caramel, a certain fruitiness with citrus. Medium-bodied. Something about this says it would work well as a Christmas beer. Anyway, pretty nice for what it is.

Brun öl med ett beige skum. Doft av söt maltighet och nötter. Lätta rostade toner, och maltighet i smaken.

Bottle at home - shared with Theis and Joergen. Pours a clear light brown with a small, tanned head. Sweet with lots of caramel aromas. Also hints of roasted malts. Way too dark and malty for an oktoberfest. Medium bodied. Medium to soft carbonation. Sweet, caramel finish.

Bottled. Hazy mahogany colour, small but firm head. Evident grapefruity hop aroma. Dry and crisp with medium body. Mild coffeeish roastiness, notes of butter and evident citric hops. Quite bitter finish. Not a tradituonal oktoberfest in any sense, but very enjoyable and reminiscent of Nils Oscar playful take on the style - Kalasöl.
