Mörk lager som med sina fina rostade toner passar utmärkt till klassisk oktoberfestmat, till exempel schweinshaxe med knödel samt olika smakrika korvar.

Lasiin lorahtaa punertavan ruskeaa vaalean beigellä vaahdolla.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours amber in color with a creamy off-white head. Slightly nutty notes, some mild herbal or spicy notes are present as well. It continues with some dark bready notes and chocolate notes later on. Dark chocolate and roasted dark malts in taste. A light crispyness from the hops used is also noticeable. Not your regular oktoberfestbier, but instead a really tasty brew, more in the direction of a brownish ale, even if it’s a lager. A bit of those green herbal note are present in the taste as well.

330 ml bottle. 576. BB 2014/04/28. (Alko) Helsinki, Finland.
Clear mahogany colour with a small foamy off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma with floral and candy notes, nutty dryness and candy sweetness. Rather nice. The flavour is roasted malt, brown sugar, candy sweetness, bitterish hops and dry nutty and woody notes. Soft carbonation. Not very traditional Märzen but not bad at all.

Poured a dark reddish brown with a small frothy tan head which quickly disappears. Aroma of bitter sweet phenolic hops and caramel malt. Medium smooth but grainy body, flavour of toffee and sweet malt.

Smells really good and plenty. Tastes wonderful good too. The aftertaste is a little thinner but okay. This October beer was really good anyway.

It’s dark copper-red with a creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of hops, fruit, roasted malt, licorice and caramel. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of hops, spruce, fruit, roasted malt, licorice and the finish is fairly dry - really nice indeed, and I’m sure it would be superb with Schweinshaxe... uhhhm...
