Dark brown color, steady brown head. Woody, herbal, sweet licorice, vanilla. Medium-bodied. Strong licorice, black coffee, cocoa, vanilla, medicinal, some herbal notes. Roasted finish, some hops too in the aftertaste. A bit too weird for my liking.

A nice 0.33l bottle from Systembolaget Hansacompagniet in Malmő, Poured a strange unclear brown body with a small tan head. Lovely distincthly chocolatey aroma, sweetened cocoa, not much vanilla. The chocolate pops up again carrying some vanilla in the taste but the taste is quite watery actually. Some roastiness. The bitterish hop finish/aftertaste doesn’t mix well.

Bottle 330ml.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted, dusty, moderate chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100911]

330ml Bottle - Dark brown with a foamy head. Roasted and chocolatey aroma with hints of coffee and vanilla. Vanilla is very noticeable (perhaps a bit too much) in the taste along with notes of chocolate and roasted malt.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a cloudy dark brown with a dense light brown head leaving some lacework. Sweet cocoa in the nose - Nesquick style. Medium body, hard roasted malt, spicy and rather intense vanilla - not entirely pleasant, appears a little herbal or medicinal. Malt bitter finish. An odd bird. 110910

(Bottle) Pours super dark brown with a large, nougat-coloured head. The aroma holds caramelized milk chocolate (Marabou mjölkchoklad) and vanilla. Light malty alongside a tiny whisper of hops. Maybe some raisins and orange peels. The flavour is light sweet, light bitter and light to medium sourish. Roasted malt up front with light notes of vanilla and chocolate. The mouthfeel is well-carbonated and light tart but with round/soft edges. Light citric. Bitter chocolate and light vanilla on the finish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Quite much black colour, small brown head. Aroma is very much ashes, some roasted malts, and mild tobacco. Flavour is coffee, ashes, roasted malts and some mild toffeeish and vanillaish notes. A bit too ashy for me.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Pours black and brings a quite big bubbly beige head. Aroma starts of quite sweet with the vanilla tone shining through the roasted malt. Also brings coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is pretty much the same. Easy palate and little bitter and salty finish. Little disappointed.
