Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear brown. Strong, inviting smoky aroma.More campfire than bacon, rather clean flavor. Rustic, yet elegant.

Yes, the aroma is smoky, no doubt! If i close my eyes i would think i smell a whisky. The color is dark, almost no foam. The taste is well... special, with smokey, woodish presence. No carbonisation almost at all. Overall a very special beer, but not exactly for my taste. If i want this taste, I’d rather go for a whisky instead. This one is a bit like a whisky mixed with water in my opinion.

Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Nice head, but a bit short. Intense smokey aroma. The taste is totally dominated by the smok and not much else.

(Bottle). This beer starts with a giant smoky and nice aroma with hints of peat and whiskey. The taste, however, is poorer than the smell. The body is watery and the in taste whiskey is fighting with beer for attention. Unbalanced and with an unpleasant hint of cigarette ash. Could have been so much more ... I would love to taste a more balanced version of this beer!

Dark, almost black colour. Distinct aroma of whisky malt. Smokey but a slightly thin aroma. Taste of whisky, malt and smoke. It could be a really good beer but it's a little to thin in taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, thnx to rlgk. Pours a clear mahogany brownish beer with a small, light bubbly off white head. Aroma is amazing, smoked malts, peat, ashes, oak and other amazing smokey characteristics. Flavor is a bit less amazing unfortunately. Thin, light sweet and smokey, oaky. Thin, watery mouthfeel, short light sweet aftertaste. Starts off great, finishes less great.

0.33 l bottle, thanks Petteri! Dark amber color. Pungent peat smoke aroma with tar, medical and plasticky phenols and bacon. Taste is quite the same, way too smoky and in an unpleasant way.

Cunningham (4307) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 8, 2014
Appearance: Deep nutty color with a fine off white head that leaves an ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, rich smoke and whisky.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Leather, whisky and smoke.
Overall impression: NOT my cup of ale. Must be heaven for smoked ale lovers.
Personal stats: Bottle from Systembolaget in Strömstad, Sweden.

Dark brown color with thin head. Smells faintly of tar, some Woods. Really feel the whisky, smoky but a little thin.

Bottled, 33cl - Brown beer with a small disappearing head. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel, smoked peat and herbs. Flavor is malty with notes of peated malt, caramel, toffee and licorice. Not very pleasant.
