330ml bottle. Bubbly, off-white head that stays well atop of a deep, dark ruby body. Spotty lace. Really nice appearance, top score including the elegant bottle design. Smell of ripe orange fruits and mid-sweet malts. Red orange in flavour added by earthy malts. Hop bitter finish. Likable autumn brew (shared with Finn, Skibotn 17.09.2011).

sebletitje (6582) - Enghien, BELGIUM - SEP 6, 2011
33cl bottle, courtesy of and shared with Gnoff.

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with lasting, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, slightly fruity nose with dark bread, caramel, treacle toffee, orange peel and a touch of chocolate. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dried apricots, bitter orange, toffee, rye bread and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with just a touch of sweetness. Tasty and quite nice.

330ml Bottle - Dark copper with some red tinges and a foamy head. Roasted malt, nuts, dried fruit, rye bread and coffee in the aroma. The taste is roasted with notes of chestnuts, dried fruit, caramel, coffee and roasted malt. A pleasant surprise as I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as this.

OleR (4759) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 26, 2011
Bottle, purchased @Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. A low tanned cream-ish head, over a well carbonated, clear reddish-brown body. Rustic hop aroma up front; Earthy, peppery and berry-fruity. Notes of cocoa and well roasted malts. Taste is pleasingly bitter, backed by a medium strong, cocoa-accented malt body. A nice fruitiness underneath. Medium full. Roast and distinct bitterness throughout. A pretty good and potent dark lager.
