COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2011 Bottle (ChrisO Pre-GBBF2011 "Donkey Dork Lord" Shindig) (4:2:5:2:7=2.0)
Plasticky aroma, but fortunately tastes better than it smells. No balance and under-attentuated. Good hopping, but it just doesn’t work.
Rerate: Bottle (RBESG2011, Grand Tasting) (3:2:3:2:7=1.7)
Dry papery aroma. Nasty vegetal taste. Very dull. Honey in the finish, but it’s a bad lager

Bottle 33 cl. A clear golden colour with a minimal white head. An aroma of citrus and yeast. The taste is light sweet. A medium body, avarage carbonation and a dry, hoppy finish.

Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting, held at Dean Swift. Medium blonde color. Great green hop aroma, with pilsner malt and sweet lemon. Nice nose. Grainy, biscuity flavor, with bready malt and nice hop bitterness. A nice lager-like ale.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear, medium gold, with a thin, cask-like, white head. The aroma is predominantly malty, somewhat corny, with a citrusy hoppiness, and notes of fruits, bean sprouts and earth. Dry, medium bodied, medium bitterness, quite high CO2. Malty, somewhat robust taste, the citrus-ilke hops return, along with the corny/earthy elements, some yeast, dough, sprouts. Finishes rather bitter, earthy and musky. (2011-08-10)

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2011 Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours clear gold with a small, white head. Slight plastic hops in the nose, hints of straw. Moderate sweetness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bit more straw bitters in the finish, faint bread. Not memorable. (3) Had another go at this at RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at The Dean Swift, London. Enjoyed it more. (3.6)

At chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig ’11. Gold. Fishy aroma and nettly taste. Bitter finish. Didn’t like it. Enough said.
