Gylden farge, medium skum. Aroma av sitrus, gjær, malt og krydder. Smaken er stort sett det samme. Både smaken og aromaen er litt uvanlig for en IPA å være, noe preg av saison, spesielt i aromaen. Litt tørr, med litt bitterhet fra humla. God, men litt annerledes.

Location: 11.2 oz bottle from Printers Row Wine Shop, 7/15/14

Aroma: The aroma is Belgian yeast and fruit mostly, with spice, malts, and a little straw
Appearance: This beer pours a clouded orange-gold color with a large off-white head
Flavor: Tastes of yeast/spice and fruit, some caramel, with some hop bitterness on the finish
Palate: The body is medium, leaning light, lively carbonation, okay mouthfeel, and a mild dryness
Overall Impression: This one is only okay for me. The nose and flavor both work decently well, but there are some components that just don’t quite work here. Decent stuff. I can’t go much higher than this score-wise.

Bottle served in a tulip. Beauty of a pour. Very Hazy blood orange in color with a large saison-esque head. Excellent retention and lacing. Nose has all kinds of tropical fruit, esters and funk. Dry bitter attack, light sweet, very bitter flavor. Light-med body, lively carbonation and a extra long, oily, bitter finish. More St. F than GF. A standout in this style.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Copper hazy, massive beige head. Smell of belgian yeast esters, some spicy hops, fruit peel, hints of grapefruit and funk. Moderate sweet, clove and other spices, quite fruity, some fruit peel. Medium bitter, some zests. Quite nice fusion of american and belgian ingredients - good stuff

Pours a cloudy, golden yellow, with lots of fizzy head (almost seems a bit over-carbonated?). Aroma is very tangy and sour. Flavor is really on the sour/tangy side, too, with a touch of Brett(?) and some hops in the mix as well. Not really my preferred approach to the IPA, though I imagine there are a lot of people who’d really love this.

Aroma: Citric, yeast and fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet and a fresh bitterness. Rich carbonation.
Taste: Fresh mild yeast, citric and a fine mild fruitiness.
Overall impression: Really pleasant and tasty summer brew!

Murky brown-gold with very tall frothy head. Herbal hop aroma. Taste - rich bready Belgian malt. Resinous herbal hops. Medium-heavy body. Not my favorite style IPA. Just ok. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @ East of Eden, Amsterdam, shared with my sister. Orange color, hazy. Big white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: sweet fruit, a bit vegetal, additionally refreshing hops and some malty sweetness retronasal. Flavor is moderate fruity sweet with a nice moderate bitter backbone, very refreshing actually. Medium bodied. Long bitter finish.
