3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 cc from Capone’s. Pours clear canary with a champagne-level of carbonation and a huge white clingy head. Nose is pale malty, white winey fruit, yeasty spice, hops. Tastes malty, champagny, very carbonated, with hopcitrus, pinot grigio white winey notes, spicy yeasty notes, and a complex palate. Gets a tad cloying late, but that’s a minor beef.

Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square - 750 ml cage corked bottle. Pours a murky light orange with a beautiful fluffy white sticky, creamy head. Spicy aroma with some coriander, and some lemony accents. Flavor is bold and refreshing. Strong and spicy up front with some coriander notes, a hint of mint, light lemony citrus and a back end of yeastiness. Mouthfeel has a solid carbonated, zesty bent to it that sits just right. Good collaboration.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Corked and caged bottle. Pours a bright glowing orange yellow with a tall gushing, continually gushing white frothy foamy meringue head. Aroma is really nice, like a sweeter tangier Belgian Wit, candied wheat, coriander, citrus, orange, hint of vanilla. Flavor is lightly sweet, very light and airy, almost like a high ABV saison, good amount of spices, coriander, fennel, wheat, sharp tangy sweetness, lightly funky, delicate but sweet orange with light notes of vanilla, I suppose the rye is somewhere in there towards the finish, really has a nice balance of bright acidity and sweetness, almost tangy, some lasting bitterness in the finish that melds beautifully with the orange and vanilla. Light bodied, soft spread-out carbonation, easy drinking. Reminds me a bit of LA Red Barn. Maybe just a tad too sweet though, covers the 9.5% well, but could use to be just a bit drier.
