COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
St. Feuillen’s centuries old brewing traditions combine with Green Flash Brewing Company’s cutting edge brewing techniques to form our first collaborative brew: Bière De L’Amitié (Friendship Brew). A blond Belgian collaboration ale, brewed with St. Feuillen’s traditional yeast and spices. For a modern twist, we add rye malt, wheat malt, and American Amarillo hops. At the crossroads of collaboration, we dry-hopped the brew for more zest. It’s old-world Belgian Abbey-style meets new-world American craft brewing - and a friendship is formed.

Sample at the Aficionado’s "Hidden Gems" beer tasting on 05/24/2013: Pours a hazy orange-gold color with a medium thick foamy white head that recedes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, grainy malt and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of sweet spices, bready malt, yeast and hops. The finish is nutmeg and yeast with a citrus aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

This corked and caged bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very large sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent yellow colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was orange peel and musty. The mild citrus mildly vinous mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium fruity aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of bitter sassafras mild citrus yeast mildly vinous mild spice coriander hops and bread dough. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

Citrus nose. Pours a hazy straw yellow with a mostly lasting white head. The taste is mildly tart - citrus, grain, with hints of a white wine. Typical Saison with a dry crisp finish. Medium-light body with crisp carbonation. Overall, an excellent example PDA Saisonz ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It's true a nice traditional Belgian blonde with a touch of west coast flair... Nice and citrusy with the little moderately spicy classic Belgian flavors... Good beer...$12 makes it a treat not legendary enough to repeat but good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Grassy wheat aroma with some bubblegum, spice, and Belgian yeast. Sweet/tart flavor with some citrus and spice. Finish is bittersweet with more spice and some grassy hops. Different and really good.

Draft at Butcher & the Boar. Saffron in the nose? Regardless, fresh and fruity. Really outstanding. Some lace, faint white ring of head. Some funk. Phenomenal.
