COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

75 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 21.02.2010
Aroma is fruity with soapy citrus and yeasty notes. Flavour is slightly sour and nice with Belgian yeast, fruity notes, some soapy citrus and spicy notes. A Belgian blonde on the saison side.

330 ml bottle. Lots of yeast visible on the bottom of the bottle. Poured carefully into my tulip glass. ABV is 7,5%. Beer is golden yellow in colour, with a huge, almost four fingers in height, snow white head, thick at first, becomes soapy in texture after a while and soon end p as a thin film covering the beer. On the aroma citrus fruits and very hoppy. Notes of green apple and bubblegum too. Nice crisp taste, bitter from the very first moments. Behind the hops comes a malt flavour, just for a tiny bit though,as the hopsoverpower everything else. Alcohol is very well hidden. Very dry on the palate, carbonationonly slighty above average and thin to medium body. Overall a very nice, bittery refreshing beer.

Poured from a 33cl bottle. Pours a translucent gold with a big, bubbly head of white foam. Aroma is heavy straw, vanilla, effervescent fruity and slight ester notes. A bit of a bite on the tongue, but seems pretty quaffable.

Bottle at Fiddler. Pours hazy lumpy golden with an off white head. Aroma is dominated by artificial sweet lemon, like those little lemon drop sweets, along with some other light fruit aspects. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with moderate prickly carbonation. Spoilt by the artificial seeming aromas.

Suutuntuma on hiilihappoisuudesta huolimatta suht ohut. Kaiken kaikkiaan ei mikään räjäyttävä, mutta toimi erittäin hyvänä seurusteluoluena.

Too metallic and far too fizzy, I’m so tired I’m feeling dizzy, Mrs D and me may come to blows, cos I want to see the Black Crowes. (She said yes! Does that mean I can go or she just being nice?)

330 ml bottle. The clear yellow-amber body is topped by a huge white head that lasts pretty well and leaves good lacing. Vigorous carbonation. Apple, banana and yeast on the nose. Taste is raisins, spice - cinnamon, clove and pepper - lemon, even a slight sarsparilla note. Not much of the banana from the aroma oddly. Can’t even detect the relatively high a.b.v. This is a pretty awesome Belgian blonde - one of the best I’ve had recently.

Pours clear yellow with medium white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, grass, citrus and a hint of honey. Taste is fresh and sweet with a decent amount of carbonation. Finish is somewhat abrupt, body is light to medium and quite oily. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a slightly hazy blonde color with a two finger fizzy foam... aromas are lightly spiced, perfume and a touch of bread. The palate has nice mouthfeel but there is too much bubblegum, potpourri notes washing out the spice and malts... the finish brings in some citrus but the overall flavors are to overdone to be enjoyable.
