Tasted 27/08/2006. 330ml bottle from Rumble’s, Wellington.
Yellow gold, thin white head, chunks everywhere. Old oranges and pepper on the nose initially, followed by a hokey pokey like character. Dry in the mouth, with peppery notes and bittersweet orange. Dry bitter finish. Spritzy, light medium. Yet another well made belgian strong.

330ml bottle from Rumbles in Wellington exp 2/07. Poured with a decent white head which didn’t last long. Orangey and spicey with a hint of coriander. Yellow and moderately carbonated.

Bottle 75cl. Hazy golden appearance. Rich fluffy white head. Refreshing aroma of candied oranges, spices and hops. Clean orangey flavour with hints of wheat, coriander and other spices. Long hoppy, spicey and orangey finish.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2007 Bottle from Utobeer. Hazy straw colour with frothy off-white head. A light film lasts throughout. Hoppy nose with a floral tone. Taste of yeast with a spicy edge. Salty palate with a sharp, dry finish. Not your standard blonde.

Bottle from Super Saver. Hazy gold pour with hopcitrus, spice, and floral malty aroma. Semi-dry palate, with flavors of hopcitrus, some floral spicy notes, and fruit. Medium palate with a finish that gets tarter as it warms.
