This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

I love this stuff. One of my regulars. The one I’m drinking is not as nice as usual, I best have another. Smooth lasting head, smells a little musty but it tatstes so sweet. I love it, second bottle on the go, nailed the other one in minutes.

Bottle brought home from Belgium. Pours golden with slightly hazy look. Smell is yeasty and a touch of citrus. A sweet front and then ends with a slightly smokey? taste. Fairly light mouth feel with good carbonation. A decent beer but a little sweet for my tastes.

330 ml. bottle brought to me straight from Belgium by my daughter. Carefully poured into a tulip, body is gold with a faint haze and medium white head that leaves a thin, sliding lace. Subtle aromas of yeast, light fruit, honey, lemon, and flowers. Medium body and lively carbonation, fairly clean palate. Lightly sweet up front, with an assertive bitterness that comes on quickly, and a mild acidity in the background. Moderately long dry finish. Nicely refreshing with some balanced complexity.

330ml bottle. Aroma of sweet malt, floral hops and citrus fruit. Flavour starts sweet before a decent dry finish. Good.

Flaske. Flot blonde gul uklar, med kæmpe skum. Duft af hvede og banan med en smule gær. Denne gær slår mereigennem i smagen. Duften blev dog en tand for meget da konen spildte et glas ud over min stakkels skaldede isse.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2007 <Thanks to Beerbiker> Hazy golden look with a nice inviting foamy white head. Aroma is full of esters and citrus notes. Especially peach and orange peel comes through. Its spiced up with coriander. Flavor is nicely sweet, with all the aromas repeating themself in your nostrils. Balanced as the bitterness comes through after the initial sweetness, and a sleightly acidic tartness to back it all up. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Belgo Camden, 12th August 2007. Amber with a smallish but lacy head. Aroma is a mix of wheat and hops and the taste is the classic refreshing blond ale taste of fruit and hops. It reminded me of Affligem and has a similar sweet and full palate. Decent beer, but nothing particularly special.

330ml bottle bought at a Fine Food shop at Kastrup Airport. Hazy, pale orange body with a huge eggshell foam, fast fading. Fruity smell with a coriander touch. Candy sweet taste mixed with fruity ripeness and an underlying spicy profile. Quite well bodied. Dry ending, but still a little too sweet (at home, 05.08.2007).

Billowing pour spiralling with bubbles. Golden and misty. Tropical fruit, banana, gently peppery spice on the nose. A big glug of citrussy fruit and punchy hop bitterness. Biscuity malts lurking in the background. Silky, unspicy, no-frills Blond with fruit and lacings aplenty.
