This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

A cloudy medium Gold with a foamy white head. Malty with that unmistakable Belgian yeast smell, light spice. A sweet floral peppery taste, bread dough, candy. A bit too fizzy in the mouth. Decent yes, not great.

Draught - Bierodrome, Holborn, London. A golden blonde coloured beer with a sweet flowery aroma and an over-perfumed cough medicine taste. Not really very nice.

On tap at Bierodrome (Holborn, London), with Joeh, Kook, Duff, and Maeib. Sweet, ruddy, lagery blond. Sweet, with a metal tang. Not quite fresh enough for me - and the strength doesn’t warm. Average.

Beautiful shining hazy golden hue. Generous white head covers the pour, but while there’s a fair bit of lacing, bubbles are pretty irregular. Superb citrusy (orange, lemon) hallertau? nose works like a wonder with the pilsner malt. Crisp delightful pilsner malt. Yummy, honey cookies! Absolutely inviting and gorgeous. Very floral and perfumey palate, spicy hops appear rather subdued, but still contribute to adding depth. Very soft mouthfeel, velvety, silky, crisp and comfortable effervesence. Complex baked pie/bread yeastiness rides along the pilsner malt and seemingly merge with it in an emotion-filled finish that you’d wish lasted longer... Awe-inspiring execution.

(750 ml bottle) Hazy golden appearance. Rich fluffy white head. Refreshing aroma of candied oranges, spices and hops. Clean orangey flavour with hints of wheat, coriander and other spices. Long hoppy, spicey and orangey finish. Dangerously drinkable. Very good.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Golden colour with large bubbly white head. Aroma is interesting; malt and hops and floral and a sort of nice medicinal pineyness. Taste is spicey, dry, bitter, sweet, malty, hoppy, sourish at the end, with a lovely mouthfeel. Full bodied, crisp and refreshing with well hidden alcohol. Very impresive blonde.
