This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

Bottle. Cloudy blond body topped with a thin white foamy head. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with yeasty, citrusy, flowery and coriander notes. Robust hoppy taste with various fruity and flowery hints. Ends with a long bittersweet finish. Very good!

Hazy honey gold hue, with a frothy white head, yeasty, pale malt nose, with a citrus and peachy fruitiness notes, sweet floral hops, hint of spiciness in the aroma follows though on a medium-bodied palate with a yesty character, fruity accent, sweet alcoholic note, with a vanilla spiciness, leading towards a juicy low bittering finish.

Bottle conditioned, 330ml. Golden beer with heavy head. Thinnish but spicy blonde beer, quite dry and a hint of hops. Not fully flavoured and finishes quickly, basically fairly average.

75 cl bottle. Golden colour with a fizzy white head. Nice aroma of spice, fruit, yeast and a little sweetness too. Flavour of grain, yeast, spice and ends up with a very dry finish.

This is, frankly, a relatively unimpressive, hyped-up malt liquor. The grains steal all of the taste --that is to say that this is sticky, bready, and sweet without much bitterness-- and the hops are missing.

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2012 Bottled. Frothy, off-white head and hazy, golden beer. Banana, citrus and wheat in the aroma. Flavor is like aroma, but there’s coriander too. Feels a little spicy. Long belgo-bitter finish. Rating: 7-4-7-3-15-3.6. 051028

Bottle, 75cl. A small, off-white head forms over a sparkling, unclear, pale golden body. The aroma has white sugar, fruityness, a faint spiced touch and some weak notes of yeast. Some bitterness in the end. The alcohol is present, but far from dominating. Overall, a quite pleasant one, easy drinkable and quite tasteful too. A beer I could drink on a regular basis, although it’s a bit too sweet. 120107

(bottle, best before 05.08.2004) Hazy orange colour with big yeast floaties and small creamy white layer. Dusty and yeasty fruity (orange, peach) aroma with a touch of cloves. Light bitter flavour, medium body. Citrus fruity and slightly sweet malty taste with yeasts with a lemon fruity, light hop bitter and slightly alcoholic but warming finish. Quite rounded brew.
