This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

33 cl, flaske, 7,5 % ABV, BB 16/08/2013, købt i Den Belgiske Ølbutik i Vanløse, 23. januar 2015.

A hazy golden orange coloured beer with a thick white head. A light, slightly wheaty aroma with a hint of spice and grassy hop. Dry mouthfeel. The taste starts off with a mild tart hop flavour, slightly grassy, but this is soon taken over by a dry cereal flavour, wheaty and bready. The dry cereal flavour lasts into a long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 7, 2015 Bottle at the Delirium Monasterium, Brussels. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is spicy aniseed lavender. The flavour is moderate bitter with a watery floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This is one of those beers that you will like or you won’t. The fence burnt down!

Cloudy golden appearance. Light frothiness. Taste is a fairly typical belgian ale, malty, a bit spicy on the palate and a hint of a citrus aftertone. Overall a decent ale, but not great

12 oz bottle poured into st feuillien chalice. Aroma was very strong, citrusy undertones. Pours a beautiful light yellow gold with a light head that stays around for a bit. Easy to drink, goes down smooth, definitely has some good hoppiness and strong citrusy finish. Good stuff.

Aroma: Light lemon, light spicy, light barnyard, earthy. Appearance: Body: Clear, golden. Head: Massive, rocky, white. Good retention. Lacing. Flavour: Medium malty, bready. Medium fruity, banana. Medium bitterness. Light barnyard, light sour, light spicy Dry finish with lingering sour, barnyard, and zest. Mouthfeel: Medium body. High carbonation. Light warming.
