This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2015 Draught@Poechenellekelder Bxl 09/2014 - alas, only one week before Manneke Pis would be pissing this for free. In all aspects of appearance, aroma and mouthfeel veyr much the mild & smoothest version of a Belgian tripel, well-behaved to the point of serial sessionabilty: some citrus marmelade and peach syrup join bready, suavely amped pilsner malts. Herbal, earthy hop bitterness remains subservient to the overall round smoothness. Very much the less sugary Wallonian partner to Augustijn Blond. / Rerate bottled 75cl, bb10/2014: much more honey, apple and pear in aroma, pear compote and honey blossom in taste. Smooth, with a round finish and minor abv insurgences. Strange they’ve decided to add vitamin C...

Retrogosto discreto, levante lupulado. Excelente Blond, equlibrada, grande surpresa.

Couleur jaune trouble, forte mousse blanche. Nez fruité et levures belges, note florale et raisin. Gout typique levures belges et floral, notes anisées. Corps bien cremeux. Pas mal!

Davvero una buona birra che si può trovare un pò ovunque nei supermercati, con un bel colore oro intenso è un cappello di schiuma che svanisce presto, aroma e sapori sono quelli tipici di una belgian ale agrumati e fruttati

Bottle 750ml. Golden yellow with medium off-white head. Fruity aroma, notes of banana, peach and pear, floral. Sweetish malty flavor, fruity, banana, light hoppy bitterness, spicy, a bit sour. Medium to full body. Lively carbonation. Sweet-sour aftertaste.

Hazy straw under a thick foamy, pillowy white head. The aroma has some hay and something similar to asparagus, with a earthy cereal tone as well. The flavor is sorta the same, earthy pale malt cereal tones, hay, sturdy green vegetable, Belgian earthy dustiness.
