COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

330ml from Redmonds. Pale blond gold pour, hazy and honey coloured. Thin white head, fizzy, doesn’t last. Wheat, banana, clove nose, flavour follows - honey, clove, banana again. Super highly carbonated, light body, fresh, light banana clove finish.

Pours a golden slightly unclear beer with a good white head. Smells licorice, laurier and malts. Tastes sweet, caramel and licorice. Average carbo, medium body and a watery texture.

from tap @ The Capital. Golden blond, light white head. Very herbal (a lot of clove). Taste is again herbal, some yeast on the background, very grassy, spicy & pepper, some hay. Sweet finish. Beer is over the edge to me, and missing some body from tap compared from bottle which I tried on an other occasion.

Rigtig fin og relativt stærk blonde. Lidt parfumeret uden at det bliver for meget.

Pale yellow with tiny off-white head. Belgian yeast, lots of cloves, banana, lemon, tropical fruits, soap. Medium sweet with a nice bitter aftertaste. Some sour notes, lime and apple. Medium body, above average carbonation. Overall slightly too much cloves and soap for me, but drinkable.

From a 330ml bottle on 15 October 2013. Pours a cloudy light golden with a medium head which dissipates quickly. The aroma is typical yeasty Belgian blonde. The flavour features lots of fruit with a subdued sweetnees, some biscuity malt, and a slightly tart, vinous sour/bitter. Has a fullish body and a touch over carbed. A decent Belgian blonde.

I had this at the St-Feuillien event at Craft Beer Base to start out my evening. It poured a clear gold with classic fruity belgium estery notes. The taste was of course fruity but well balanced with a nice body & mouthfeel. It didn’t blow me away but was a very satisfying beer & a great start to my night. You don’t feel the alcohol at all so watch out for that 7.5% (I didn’t so my night gets kind of hazy). It’s a great example of a beligian blonde ale
