This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

33cl bottle poured in a Delirium Tremens glass. Pours a straw colour with a foamy white head which last well. Quite a strong blonde and close to being on par with their excellent tripel. A nice clean taste with sweetness and noticeable alcohol for the style. Very good.

Heel mooie diepgoude kleur, bier is sterk geparfumeerd. Lekkere hopsmaak en smaak van kruiden. Bittere smaak. Rijke afdronk, droog en hoppig.

Bottle 33cl. Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma is somewhat sweet; reminds me of Hoegaarden witbier. Taste has some yeast, sweetness but the aftertaste is bitter. Nice one.

Bottle from the Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a blonde color and a nice large white head with a lot of bubbles. The aroma has tones of hops, citrus and some spices. The taste is hoppy and a little bitter. In the taste also tones of malts and a light fruitiness. The finish is a little dry and medium bitter from the used hops. Well done for a Blonde beer but a little too bitter for an Ale.

Nice Belgian blond beer, not as sweet as most of its stylemates. Bit dryer and more bitter.
