This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

Blonde claire, bonne pétillance, belle mousse mais ne tient pas. Légère amertume, notes citronnées, légèrement épicée. Plutôt agréable...

Lovely blonde abbey beer. Slightly hoppy, top-fermenting ale. Mostly available in bottles but sometimes on draft. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Yamaichi. Big estery, floral, and yeasty nose -- cookies, and light sweet fruit. Bright lemon color, carbonation streaming up the curved sides of the glass, fluffy head. Tangy, peachy sweetness / carb mash and subtle hoppiness in mid / finishes with a good tongue scraping and moves to balance. Medium body. Very tasty. Clsoe to the smoothness and warnth of Duvel.

Aroma: Salt, yeast, pear, white pepper, flowers and cooking apple.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a large white head. Very lively carbonation. Lots of sticky lacing on the glass.

Taste: Bitter green apple and yeast. Slight hint of banana and white pepper in the finish. Incredibly easy drinking considering its 7.5% ABV.

Palate: Medium body with a foamy mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation.

Overall: A fantastic Blonde beer with a punchy aroma and a flavour that begs another sip.

En ølnytelse på Blaagaards Apotek en solfylt lørdag ettermiddag i mai, sammen med Johnne: højt skum, høj musikk, stor smak og ettersmak og stort folkeliv. En herlig stund.

A cloudy, yellow beer with a big, slightly soapy and blond head. Aroma is very aromatic as St. Feuillien beer are usually, flowers, some spices and citrusfruits, hint of anise. Taste is spicy, citrus, dry malts, and some flowers, in the aftertaste there are that white and bitter part under of the orange peel. Light and very easty to drink, even quite high alcohol %, high carbonation, fresh. Very easy, but tastedull beer, aromatic.

0,75 l bottle. Very light cloudy yellow colour with low steady head and medium body. Nose of grassy hops. Taste of light Belgian yeast but with a certain sourness, kimchi cabbage, hay, limes, spicy hops, rice and coriander seeds. Easy and very nice to drink, really quaffable. It is somehow other than expected (more sour, more earthy etc) but delicious on the second glass.

Big 0.75 l bottle from Carrefour in La Calamine shared with McTapps. First I thought it was just another belgian blonde. Oh, it is. Quaffy with yeast and some hops in the start. Huge carbo aswell. But what makes this one so great is a slight aroma & aftertaste of ripe apples. Nice surprise and some nice score.
