COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

I love this stuff. One of my regulars. The one I’m drinking is not as nice as usual, I best have another. Smooth lasting head, smells a little musty but it tatstes so sweet. I love it, second bottle on the go, nailed the other one in minutes.

Strong lemon citrus character with plenty of herbal hops in the nose. Brilliantly clear golden body is topped by a generous and fine bubbled, dense white head that recedes slowly to a lasting cover with beautiful lacing. Bitterness up front is joined by a fruity note that is reminiscent of their tripel. Malty sweetness emerges and lingers. Very dry medium body with strong effervescence that engages the tongue. Another one that really is well preserved despite being five years old... Tulip glass. Bottle. Lot number 136287 purchased through Bieropholie in September 2003 and left unrated in the cellar until now! Best before 23/01/06. I think this could have well lasted another few years by how fresh it tasted!

Lively and foamy, almost clear beer. Quite yeasty, basement aromas, hay, banana and apple. Tasty farmyard, biere de garde like bitterness balanced at first by an applely sweetness. Shortish aftertaste makes it very easily drinkable. Outdated label does not do this great brew justice. Spot on. (33cl bottle, 2,10 EUR)

33cl bottle. Pours a light golden with a small white head. Nose ; Strong fruity aromas ; mostely orange, peach and strawberry. Little yeast and obvious malt background. Sip : Full body with little but foamy carbonation. Orange nose aromas now became bitter orange zest. Little cherry notes. Very small yeast sourness that behaves like fruit sourness. Malts are still playing the beer role in the background. Interesting beer. Streigh forward spicy belgian blonde that could be tripple.

33cl bottle purchased from Dan Murphy’s liquor stores. Trappist glass. Appears clear light golden with a large white head that reduces to a stable lacing collar. Pleasant inviting perfumy nose of nectarine, peaches, melon, lychee and bready malts. Flavour is typical of a superior Belgian Blonde ie. not too sweet with a nice dry finish and some earthy yeasty elements. Palate is robust and medium-full bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Rather enjoyed this one.

This is a very good beer. They got the balance just right between bitterness and a slight sweetness. Citrus wheaty aromas. Full flavor. A little nutty even. Like it.

Light on the mouth with spicey lemon yeast. Lace that stays in the cup, many small bubbles from good carbonation. Really 7.5%? Malty and refreshing. Bit of dry bitter afterataste from hops. Floral yeasty aroma.
