This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

A cloudy medium Gold with a foamy white head. Malty with that unmistakable Belgian yeast smell, light spice. A sweet floral peppery taste, bread dough, candy. A bit too fizzy in the mouth. Decent yes, not great.

Light orange color, small fast diminishing head. Orange, yeast nose and taste. Also pine in the middle. Dusty finish.

orange uklar øl, med holdbart hvidt skum. Dufter af frugt og honning. Smagen er krydret, men ukompliceret. Svært at identificere specifikke smagsnoter, muligvis en anelse citrus. Bitterhed til sidst. Ikke bryggeriets bedste!

Gold blond colour, average white head. lots of carbonation. Sweet malty aroma, little yeasty. Full body, dry malty with a sweet finish. Not bad, but not really my kind of beer.

Draft. Clear, golden body with medium white head. Aroma was slightly spicy with notes of malt. The beer is big on spice, almost like a spicy lager. Minimum complexity. The body is thin. Short, dry finish. Good, but not a favorite Belgian ale.

Bottle, 33cl. I was expecting a lot from this one but i must confess that i was a bit disappointed in the end. Beautiful golden colour with a huge off-white head. Very lively. Fruity and yeasty aroma, very subtle but nice. Smooth taste but some lack of character. Some spiciness and a bitter end but flavours seem to be in the "wrong place". Enough body and a rather poor palate. Pleasant but not outstanding.

Aroma: fruity, malt, cocoabutter, yeast, banan, hops, fiery. Appearance: cloudy, plae golden w/ little orange-white flat head. Flavor: metallic, musty, peculiar taste, a little burnt, rubber. Palate: too fizzy.

On tap at Belgo Camden, 12th August 2007. Amber with a smallish but lacy head. Aroma is a mix of wheat and hops and the taste is the classic refreshing blond ale taste of fruit and hops. It reminded me of Affligem and has a similar sweet and full palate. Decent beer, but nothing particularly special.

75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a lacing white head. Spiced coriander and light wheaty aroma with a distinct yeasty note. Flavour starts sweet and goes into a light yeasty and then spiced set of flavours. Ends somewhat bitter and spiced. Easy to drink beer that goes really well with Italian and mild spiced food.
