COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This light ale has a deep golden colour with a smooth, frothy head. It is very perfumed with an unmistakable hint of aromatic hops and a fruity (citrus) note from the spices used in production. The body has an intense yet distinctive bitterness and a strong malty taste which is a delight to the palate. The overall effect, however, is a slight dryness and hoppiness.

Citrus and yeast in the aroma, golden amber, small firm white head. Strong malt flavour, touch of lemon. Sweet, light bodied, spritzy. Refreshing little Blonde!

Light yellow color, cloudy appearance. Lively carbonation. Medium sized white head. Spicy, fruity, basic Belgian aroma with hints of licorice. Medium bodied. Strong alcohol in flavor with strong spices and mild fruits. Alcohol lasts strongly in aftertaste. Too alcoholic for my taste, aroma is nice with mild licorice.

75 cl bottle. Belgian blonde with great complexity and a high alcohol % which is fairly well hidden. It tastes like a classic. But could be a bit smoother and softer in my opinion. There’s almost too much going on around my tastebuds...

This blond has matured in my cellar for more than a year. Light amber and a nice head. The aroma is fresh and spicy with notes of coriander and citrus. The same goes for the flavour, that also has light sweetness and a rather strong bitterness. I thinks it’s a bit too heavy in the coriander and the rather special bitterness, and I’m not all that fond of it.

330ml bottle bought at a Fine Food shop at Kastrup Airport. Hazy, pale orange body with a huge eggshell foam, fast fading. Fruity smell with a coriander touch. Candy sweet taste mixed with fruity ripeness and an underlying spicy profile. Quite well bodied. Dry ending, but still a little too sweet (at home, 05.08.2007).

2008-03-06. Golden yellow body with a modest white head. (3+) Mild dry aroma, light pale malt, light alcohol in both aroma (5+) and flavour. Average to thin palate. Not unpleasant but does not inspire me to say much about it either
Bottle shared with DSG at Trappisthuis, Gent

Nice all-around blonde but fresh on draft it can taste like slightly alcoholic coriander soup. Better when bottle-fermented, IMO. Sweet, coriander nose with orange notes. Flavor is moderately sweet with mild bitterness, of which more would be nice. Spices linger in the aftertaste. I don’t think this beer was always so soupy.

33cl bottle, bought it in Belgium, in a beer hall. Fresh, sweet smell, not terribly interesting. Very nice honey taste, with hints of coffee. Nice warm palate.
