dmac (842), Toms River, New Jersey, USA Dec 14, 2007 750 ml bottle purchased at Wine on the 9. Pours a cloudy mud colored brown with a nice size light biege head that never fully disipates. Big sweet initial aroma with lots of yeast, raisin, sugar and brown bread. Medium bodied with noticable carbonation on the back of your throat that is slightly biting. Flavor is not as sweet as the nose would lead you to believe. Grainy bready flavor with notes of yeast, dark fruit and brown sugar. While this is a good beer it is not great but then again neither is my vertical leap.

This brune is slightly sweet, which I like and has the bitterness that alot of beers in it’s style lack. kiefdog (402), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 27, 2008 75cl bottle from Kingdom Liquors (Tampa, FL).
