notalush (2027), Rawn-kawn-kohma, New York, USA Nov 4, 2003 Dark brown with hints of amber, large, lasting, off-white head - aroma of yeast, bread, some mustiness - flavor has a robust nutty character to it, with some chocolate notes - these give way to a hop bitterness that balances well with the earlier malt characteristics, lending to the nutty flavor a certain roasty aspect - finish gets a bit watery, and the flavors don't remain all that pronounced for very long, but this is still a decent offering.

This brune is slightly sweet, which I like and has the bitterness that alot of beers in it’s style lack. kiefdog (402), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 27, 2008 75cl bottle from Kingdom Liquors (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark walnut color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, honey, toffee, raisins, dark ripe fruit, sweet candy.
