| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 9, 2007 From bottle. Red amber clear body with a fluffy lasting broken white head. Clove, orange peel, and caramel in the nose. Roasted malts as first approach in the mouth, then moving to spiced plum and figs. A slight bitter finish enhances the flavors. Medium carbonation with a well balanced and smooth body makes it a nice winter beer, together with a little alcoholic touch. A good Xmas beer. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 8, 2007 The colour of a 70’s sofa. Or the little cherry red football type buttons on an arran cardigan with elbow patches. I really really like st.feuillen beer. I had a girl who smelled like this and she always did it for me. Pan handle from 20 yards I’m telling ya. I’ve smelled better, there was something under lying that didn’t make it the best smelling beer. Flavour is great. And it IS spelled flavour. It is in our language anyway. Doesn’t taste as great as I bult it up to be but the whole Christmas spice thing isn’t my thing. Still very nice and it will get a strong score, just not getting near the St F blonde or triple. Then again, not much does for me. Nice, will drink again. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 30, 2007 Tap at redlight. Pours deep red into wine glass with small dense head. Dark fruit, cherries and a little yeast in the aroma. Spices and dark fruit are very nice in the taste with a little yeast and sourness. Nice clean finish, smooths as it warms up, becomes more wine like. Only thing bad was an off smell of sweat that became more prominent as the glass warmed, otherwise, good. corby112 (783), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
