Commercial Description:
This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Hazy dark brown ale with a thin moka head. Sweet candy malt with orange peels, coriander, cardamom, rich aroma. Rich malt in mouth, with nice classy hops, licorice, coriander, chocolate. Very rich bodied with smooth warming alcohol finish. Merci Chris. Shared with Chris, and Mike, November, 2005.

750ml - 2005 - Aroma is spicy, malty, fruity with strawberry, cranberry, raisin. Pours dark brown with nice medium head and great lacing. Flavor matches aroma with the alcohol becoming a factor. Palate is creamy and smooth. Quite tasty and a little time might mellow the alcohol and spice to be even better.

Draft. Poured a medium brown with a thick tan head. The aroma was tantalizing with sweet spices and fruits. The taste is really smooth, way too smooth to be 9% abv. Sweet fruits and winter spices dominate the flavor. An excellent beer!
