COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuve de Nol has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Flaske. Farven er kobberrd/brun og skummet er vedblivende og fast. Dufter af jul med masser af krydderier. Smagen er frugt, svesker og krydderier. En skn julel, der virkelig smager af jul.

On tap at Falling Rock, vintage 2012. Deep, dark brown appearance with a lingering light tan head. The nose is dark malts, caramel, herbs, spices, light yeast, roasted grain and light toffee. Similar flavor, rich, malty and spiced with a light bitterness. Medium body. Pretty good overall.

From a bottle at Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury. Dark ruby with a substantial head. Not a particularly big aroma, but getting some caramel and subtle spiced fruit. Big, rich mouthfeel with gingery, plummy fruitcake flavours, fading a little to a slightly disappointing finish.

Deep amber in appearance. Lots of caramel sweetness in the taste at the start but with a slightly bitter finish to really even it out. Pretty boozy and warm.
