This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Pours a brown color with coppery undertone, topped with a beige colored head. Malty aroma, caramel, some fruity notes (dark and gentle), slight yeasty feel. Taste is malty, sweet with some caramel. A bit yeasty and some final bitterness. Highly carbonated and some presence of alcohol. Strong one.

The Belgian St. Feuillien may not be the best Christmas beer, but its alcohol of 9%, compiled with the large bottle of 75 cl. and again summed up the most often available at reasonable cost, making it an attractive Christmas beer that I can really only recommend. It has rich caramel, tingling alcohol, sweet fruit notes and a comfortable hoppy bitterness. Easy to drink, very intoxicating and pleasing to the eye.
