Also sold as ’St Feuillien Spéciale’ in the USA. This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Sweet, smooth, still has quite a lots of character. Beautiful colour with full and thick head.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Big frothy tan head which turns into lots of bigger bubbles before it quickly flattens out. Dark brown/amber body, low transparency. Aroma is sharp in the nose. Iron, dark fruits, wood. Sweet malt hits the tongue first. Some alcohol taste. Creamy texture, excellent palate. Best served at higher temperatures.

Pours a deep dark brown with a creamy head. Spicy aroma of dark malts, bread, caramel, roasted nuts, some anise and many more spices. Medium sweetness and lively carbonation. Pretty tasty winter brew.

Bottle. Mahogany. Dark spicy nose. Anise, bready dark malts, some cedar, plummyness and dades. Full bodied. Candi malty, murky spicy. Quite alright, flavourful. Slightly sweet. Spicy, warming. Not as full bodied as I’d like it to be.

Bold spicy taste - exactly like a christmas brew should be like. Good strength (alcohol) but not too alcohol’y in the taste. Definitly my favorite brew this time of the year!

Cuvée 2013 à la pression. Note d'agrumes au nez, couleur ambrée profonde, on est à Noël. Très peu de sucre et une bonne longueur sur l'écorce d'orange, le caramel et la réglisse.

Pours a clear deep amber with an enourmous head. Looks fluffy and is a light beige color. Aroma is candy and caramelly sweet. Taste is very well balanced with a very surprisingly dry finish. Light bitterness also lingers, despite the subtle sweetness witch comes first.

330ml bottle. This beer has a hazy, brown colour and an off-white, medium head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, caramel and fruit (mainly plum) and yeast. Initially I feel medium sweetness in the taste, followed by medium bitterness and a dry finish. It’s full-bodied and creamy with soft carbonation.

The aroma is very sweet and fruity. Pours dark amber with a light beige head. Has a rich flavour of caramel, nuts, a little coffee, raw liquorice and a nice citrus finish.
