This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Tap @ Publick House, Brookline, MA. Pours a deep brown color with a generous brown head. Aroma is spicy up front with slight chocolate, caramel, and malt characteristics as well. The spices dominate the taste as well, though in a delicate way. The aftertaste sweetens a bit, with hints of alcohol and roasted malt. A wonderful winter beer.

At ’t Brugs Beertje in Bruges. Dark brown beer with reddish shine and with a ivory colored head. It has aroma’s of soft spices, molassas, brown sugar, light roasted malts and a mistical touch of herbal and vegetal hints like sage, basil, thime and anise. It has a smooth attack with touches of burned caramel, dried fruits like plums, dates, figgs and again this herbal effect in the afthertaste. It ends with a medicinale hint of pectorale sirup.

Dark with a red tint. Quickly diminishing off white head. Sweet with a licorice aroma. Nice blend of Christmas spices in the taste. Well done ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BBE 26.06.2017. Tummanpunertavan ruskea väri, viipyvä ok vaahto. Sammutettu tuoksu vaahdon läpi, suutuntuma viipyvän vetinen, ei erityisen alkoholinen prosentteihin nähden, pientä pirteää hedelmäisyyttä, samettisen tunkkainen. Hyvä.

Tasty, warm, strong. hints of a heated rum raisin, mixed with dark bread. Pleasurable mouthfeel, not to hot on the tongue, sits nice and heavy in the cheeks.

Pours brown with a red shine. Small head. Aroma of malts and spices. Taste of caramel, malts and spices. High carbonation comes through in the taste while it is not very much noticable in the appearance. Should probably age some more but nice beer already.

Dark brown red beer with a tan head. Aroma is malty with some notes of alcohol. Flavour is similar with some spices and a bit of caramel. Very nice Christmas beer. (Bottle 33cl)

Liqurish and floral aroma. Dark Brown appearence with a fine head. Light bitter and sweet. I Think there is to much carbonation.
