Also sold as ’St Feuillien Spéciale’ in the USA. This beer has a generous head - compact and firm. Its slightly brown colour is the result of the roasted barley. It has a dark ruby brown colour and a very intense aroma. The aromatic herbs and spices used greatly enhance its delicious smell. This beer is full-bodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. St Feuillien Cuvée de Noël has a very subtle bitterness that is the dominant flavour in this harmonious ale that strikes a perfect balance between all the different ingredients.

Heel goed bier, donker bruin van kleur met heel veel koolzuur. Schuim blijft lang staan. Smaak, kruidig, iets zoet, cholcolade, citroen en fruit en anijs. Eén ven de betere Kerstbieren. Fles 33cl waarvan etiket is aangepast.

0.33 l bottle from Alko. Great head and copper brown colour. Not as dark as I expected. Taste resembles toffee with a hint of bitterness. Interesting, this is different than most of the winter or chrismas beers or ales. I’m glad this is in a small bottle, since the 9% of alcohol might be too much unless your are having a company.

This Belgian poured a rich burgundy, with a nice thick, creamy head. Aroma is sweet and spicy. Rich flavour, bursts in your mouth, and tickles the palate. I'd make a special trip to Belgium, just for this beer.

Bottle. Incredibly beatiful dark amber color, massive beige head. Aroma is fruity with a strong malty touch. Flavor is spicy and malty with a nice balance of both. The alcohol makes the mouthfeel quite big and warm. Very nice.

Nice head. Very malty rich aroma. Nice balance in taste, not too sweet, some hop and dryness in the finish. Palate is thinner than expected. Quite fair for a christmas dinner, since it is less sweet and heavy than others.

22 oz bottle. 2005 vintage. Pours a very deep brown with a large, lasting head. Aroma is malty, fruity, spicy. The taste is typical Belgian Strong Ale with a little holiday spice for the season.
