3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Loppen at a Dark Funeral concert. Amber coloured with an off white head. Nice and fruity - also a little bit spicy - but also a little to cemical for me.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Delirium Cafe April 2006: poured orange with a medium tan head. Very sweet malty, caramel aroma. Flavor is fairly sweet but not much. Toffee, caramel. There is not a whole lot lingering here. Somewhat watery after swallowing. Short, quick finish. Decent but nothing great.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2006 (33 cl. bottle) Sweet aroma of ripe fruits and malt. Light brown colour with matching colour head. Huge stable head and lots of carbonation. Fresh, bitter-sweet flavour with some roasted notes. Very creamy mouth feel. The carbonation prickles the palate for some time. Nice but not exciting. Easter would still be Easter without it.

Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, velvety/creamy texture, soft carbonation.
Not tremendously moving, but pleasant.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From 750 ml bottle at the Montreal YeHa! 2005. Medium amber with a bit of ring left from the frothy head...baked pears and caramel prominent in the nose, a touch of pepper appears late with bready yeast...thick, enticing malty flavors, touches of bitter and sweet orange, mild hint of alcohol...a bit of pepper helps hold the sharpness of the body...another delight from this under-sampled brewery.
