Pours clear deep golden with off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeasty spice and fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long fruity and yeasty spicy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to fizzy

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo. Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Fruity, malty and yeasty aroma with spices and caramel. Sweet and fruity with an almost perfumy, yeasty flavour and a very light bitterness in the finish. Fairly well balanced, but a bit strange. Medium body and well integrated alcohol. Decent, but not quite my kind of beer.

330 ml bottle, at home. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 6.5%. For a reason I have a bottle that was meant to be imported in Denmark. Maybe that’s why the lower alcohol? Very deep orange to light red colour, big head, three fingers tall, off-white in colour, soapy. Collapses fast but after that it has a very good retention. Light lacing around the glass. Nice aroma with floral hops, a tiny bit of yeast and sugars. Sweet at first, turns quickly to bitter and becomes even more bitter on the aftertaste. Lots of hops here too. Very good and refreshing. Medium thick on the body, average carbonation. Overall a very good beer, I don’t know if two days drinking only cheap pilsners played any role but I enjoyed this beer a lot. Feels like a Heller Bock too.

Dark amber. Brief white head. Sweet, crispy, caramel, citrus aromas. Quite sour and dry but not too much for my taste. Has some caramel and bread in the taste. Hints of sweetness. Round mouth feel - even with a little watery side. Mouth feel has a hint of charasteristics of a sparkling wine (not the taste). The taste isn’t very complex but I really like it. I think it’s well balanced and an easy step in to the world of belgian ales.

Bottle (33cl) from Vinmonopolet (Storo), Oslo. 6.5% ABV. Huge, slowly diminishing, fluffy off-white head that leaves some lacing. Lovely, clear copper/amber colour. Aroma of Belgian ale yeast, sweet melon, yellow apple, ripe pear, pineapple, caramel. Medium body, soft/lively carbonation. Semi-sweet fruity-yeasty taste with a mild, dusty bitterness and hint of menthol. Long bitter-sweet aftertaste.

Slightly hazy copper body with a creamy, eggnog coloured head that laces the glass well and eventually settles as a fully lasting layer. Moderate aroma with spices, anise seeds and herbs, sweet and acidic ripe fruits, citrus and Belgian yeast. The initial taste is light to moderate sweet and light acidic, the quite long-lasting finish is moderate bitter and light acidic. Sharp but pleasant flavour profile that is dominated by spices and herbs, especially anise seeds. The Belgian yeast is also prominent, undetermined non-tropical fruits in the back. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, medium body, dry texture, moderate plus carbonation. A good one!

Pours a dark orange colour with a soapy white head that leaves a good lacing in the glass. Looks really good! Interesting aroma of peach, pepper, dates, belgian yeast and maybe some candysugar in the end. Loads of mango and peach in the taste, way too dominating. After the mange/peach taste leaves, the only thing left is a watery mouthfeel and taste. It has a medium body. A bit too carbonated, doesn’t fit this beer. Overall this is a bold try to create a awesome beer, but it has some major issues. A wierd beer indeed
