Best Abbey I ever had. Fruity and a little nutty. A beer you can almost chew.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2004 Fine looking beer. Orange big head, amber/red colored. The main impression is sweetness with a bit of spices not classified. 28/5 04: Let this beer rest for a year, and it gets much better.

Nice Red-brown colour with rich filling head. Sweet fruity aroma with slight liquorigde taste. Great filling body, sweet light alcoholic finish.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2005 (Bottle 75 cl) Even with something as rare as Danish writing on the label., wauw - that’s unusual. And I have a sneaking suspicion that this beer is specially manufactured for the Danish market. I can’t find it on the brewery’s website and the Belgians don’t have a big tradition for easter beers. However, none of this changes the fact, that this is an excellent beer. Red-brown/amber colour with a fat, fat brownish, sturdy head. Sweet and full with noticeable hops. And also very spiced. 330ml bottle from a trade with boutip. hazed amber with a lasting off white head. fresh amber malt nose. herbs and spices in the flavour with a nice rich malt body. easy to drink. very good belgian amber.

Very fine dark golden look with an awsome thick dense thise head. Aroma is very yeasty, with fresh notes of orange peels and acid. Flavor is sweet at first with acidic notes, in the end a fine hob profile comes through and leaves a sleightly dry finish. Very nice easter brew

UPDATED: APR 14, 2003 Yellow head on top af a beutyful reddish brown beer. Nice lacework on the glass. Caramel, spices and some sourness. A very nice beer!

Beautiful amber color; rocky giant head, impressive perlage. Nice aroma: malt, caramel, old hops, mature wood. Round taste, malt & caramel, woody; candi sugar. Some residual sweetness in the palate: can be improved.
