Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 11.2 oz bottle. Hazy light golden pour with a soft white head that sticks around a while. Fresh lemony aroma with hints of saffron spiciness and a hint of yeast. Flavor has some light citrus bitterness, some doughy yeasty notes, some saffron-like spiciness and a back end of white grapes. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it with just the right amount of spritz.

Slim white head, pint-like colour, high carbonation. Blend nose, like a regular blond beer. Taste is as blend with no subtlety as expected of a grand cru, except its high carbonation.

Big foamy white head over clear straw body. Aroma of straw and Belgian yeast, some grass and floral. Taste: sweet, yeasty, almost cloying, some bitterness developing on palate and some alcohol down the throat.

First aroma is yeast and lowers hoppy taste and nice bitterness. The beer has a great aftertaste and has ballanced hoppy aftertaste. ---Rated By the Belleketels

Crisp, hazy golden coloured body with a light pale yellow coloured tint and a thin, one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of nice grassy, herbal, yeastie, wheatie and floral notes - all with good complexity and some subtle hop notes at the end. Medium-bodied; Super effervescent with a ton of bubbles, a very nice floral and grassy hop note, ton of yeast and coriander seed freshness and a lot of light barnyardie, funky malt/wheat with some light sweetness. Aftertaste shows a ton of complexity with a lot of grass/herbs/fruits and a little hoppiness and alcohol flavour at the end. Overall, a great beer - definitely one to try if you can find it and well worth the space in your suitcase if you are similar to me. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from the Beer Tempel in Bruxelles, Belgium on 30-June-2012 for €2,95 sampled at home on the other side of the pond in New Paltz, New York on 05-July-2013.

Znakomita paleta smakowa i bogato rozwiniety wachlarz smakowy. Piekna puszysta piana. Polecam ten najszlachetniejszy wyrob St. Feuilliena.

Bottle [330ml]. Pours a slightly hazy, very bubbly, yellow-gold with a huge lasting frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat and spices along with citrus and lightly tart fruit. Flavour is quite yeasty along with citrus, herbs, light spices, wheat and light grassy hops. Alcohol is well hidden. Average bodied. Pretty good, I enjoyed it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a really clear and light golden. The head doesn’t stay for long and doesn’t leave any noteworthy lacing. Aroma is belgian yeast, spices and light alcohol. Taste is nice and round but you never get the impression that it is sweet. A good bitterness and a slight alcohol bite balances it all out it seems. Mouthfeel is light even though it has a medium body, if that ever makes sense. A good belgian but not one I’d ever want to come back to.
