Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

On the Tenth Day of Christmas 2013 the beer gods gave to me . . . a delicious Belgian ale. Pretty close to a tripel. Pours a golden yellow ale with a big white foam head. A nice Belgian yeast aroma of banana, notes of dough, apricots, grass, and caramel. Sweet yeasty caramel, with hints of citrus and zest, and some slight banana and light fruits on the backend. Damn tasty.

Store bought bottle. Pours a bright golden body with a rich head of white foam. Initial taste matches the light aroma of the hops strongly present in the beer, and gradually becomes cloudy and bitter with additional sips. The powerful alcohol content is well hidden beneath the beer’s strong flavor, so it may catch you by surprise.

yellow hay, sparkling, huge white head. nose: grassy, yeast, slightly metallic, fruity touch, citrus. taste: grassy, yeast, good carbonation, sparkling, initially bitter, dry, sweet finish. does not taste as the typical over spicied St Feuillien brew, better than their blond and tripel. do not find back the champagne yeast. overall a fine beer, only has a small metallic touch both in nose as in taste which is a bit of a set back.

Bottle at London pub in Battipaglia. Gold, big white head but not too persistent. Tropical fruits and citrus at the nose. Beautiful palate, not bitter nor too sweet, easy to drink. I loved it.

9.5% bottle at the St-Feuillien event at CBB. A great cloudy gold with a thin fluffy head & a fruity aroma-sweet & appetizing. Great body, light carbonation, sweet + lightly sour. Easy to drink with a light citrus/spicy flavor.

Bottle at home. One year old. Pours a clear straw colour with a big, soap-like, white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some citrus, and spices. The flavour is more rich and sweet with a touch of alcohol. Slick mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. A balanced and rich ale. Very nice.

Head is large but bubbles also and they faint rapidly. aromas show hops and mandarin. In the body, thin bubbles sustain a strong and long taste and palate. Low bitterness and alcohol is not hidden enough compared to some better triple beers. Body Appearance is almost transparent and deceiving for a bottle re-fermented beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cerveja de coloração dourada e espuma branca e pouco persistente. Aroma frutado, sabor levemente seco e agradável, lembra muito a duvel. Drinkability ótimo. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
