Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

*Beer Review* StFeuillien Grand Cru Thought it was time to kick it up a notch both in ABV and style. Very pale yellow pour with lots and lots of foamy white head. Sour yeasty smell. A bit of banana? Wow that’s a large mix of tastes that are all very mellow and mix together very well. A lot going on here. For the amount of head the carbonation doesn’t seem all that high. Sour motes with some sweetness in the middle then back to sour. A bit of that ’sweet tart’ thing going on. Very well balanced. Very enjoyable.

Lys farve med høyt skum som ligger lenge. Lukt av sitrus og humle. Smak av søte sitrusfrukter, mild malt med noe bitter humle i avslutningen.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2013 Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a huge head and tons of bubbles. Faint smell of fruits and yeast, slightly acidic. Taste - starts with fruity sweetness, bitter-sweet medicinal finish, not balanced flavors, did not really work for me.

330ml bottle. Pours a pale yellow colour with a frothy, white, two finger head that slowly thins to a small ring and cap. Light lacing. Smell is slightly acidic. Notes of yeast, lemon, and other citrus fruits. Taste is semi sweet but well balanced with a slightly spicy/bitter alcohol aftertaste that lingers a while. Medium body with a medium to high carbonation. Has a lively, bubbly texture. Very nice brew well worth a try. Very lively and pleasant to drink.

33cl bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Pale gold beer slight haze thick white head. Spicy hoppy aroma with some light esters. Mmmm, yes, a tasty Belgian blonde. Very likeable. Bit too carbonated, but you can get rid of that to leave a good lemon curd flavour. It’s a decent light tripel. Light citrus fruity. Good beer.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma brings out quite a bit of hops, Belgian yeast, and some spicy floral notes. Flavour brings out quite a strong hoppy character for a Belgian, along with subtle spicy floral hops, and lots of Belgian yeast. Very hoppy for the style, with quite a nice complexity. ABV is no where to be detected. Carbonation is quite high, but well-suited for the flavours and body. Great stuff.

Tallahassee, Fl - Market Square Liquors - 11.2 oz bottle. Hazy light golden pour with a soft white head that sticks around a while. Fresh lemony aroma with hints of saffron spiciness and a hint of yeast. Flavor has some light citrus bitterness, some doughy yeasty notes, some saffron-like spiciness and a back end of white grapes. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it with just the right amount of spritz.

Slim white head, pint-like colour, high carbonation. Blend nose, like a regular blond beer. Taste is as blend with no subtlety as expected of a grand cru, except its high carbonation.
