Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Bottle @ brewday. Aroma is winey fruits, some caramel malt and a hint of banana. Flavour is quite sweet of malt with some nice fruity prune and wine notes, touch of vanilla.

33cl bottle - Golden pour, fine foamy white head. Enjoyable, but very traditional-tasting Walloon/Belgian triple with a sweetish-oily texture, quite some fruitiness and too much malt sweetness over hops for my taste. Expected something more innovative or surprising in the flavour profile, going by the current ratings.

Kaatuu tulppaanilasiin vaaleankullankeltaisena ja hieman sameana, vaahto on kahden sormen paksuinen ja jää isoina saarekkeina oluen pinnalle. Haju on vahvan belgihiivainen, jonka takaa löytyy kirpeää sitrusta ja päärynää, karviaismarjaa ja hieman ruohoa. Maku on täyteläisen hedelmäinen (greippiä ja tummempana hedelmänä päärynää), marjaa, ruohoa, marjapensaan lehtiä ja belgihiivaa. Suutuntuma on kaiken kaikkiaan täyteläinen, humalan pistely tuntuu myös kielellä. Kokonaisuutena tasapainoinen, maistuva ja monipuolinen belgiale, tykkään kovasti.

Golden with a white head - malt aroma along with some fruity yeast notes - taste is yeast dominated with some fruityness and malts - the yeast notes continues into the finish - a littel to much yeast flavours, but still good

330 ml bottle. Pale golden colour with a slight haze. Tall white fine laced head. Crisp refreshing soapy aroma. Light bodied. High carbonation level. Dry and sweet at the same time. Nice citrusy flavours. Sweet lemons. Coriander. Smoky dusty hops. Nicely balanced. Very drinkable. I like it a lot.

Alcohol content is hidden well. Good frothy head, otherwise nothing else really stands out. Either very subtle or very well-balanced.
