Grand Cru is a speciality beer carefully crafted by Belgium’s St Feuillien Brewery. This extra-blond amber nectar masterpiece undergoes refermentation in the bottle, resulting in a beer endowed with unforgettable character. The secret lies in the unique combination of the most noble hops and the finest aromatic ingredients. Grand Cru differs from other beers in the range by its absence of spices. Its full, white head is light and frothy, and when poured it creates a subtle lace effect. The very pale colour of Grand Cru lends clarity and brilliance to its body.
Grand Cru’s delicate nose is a veritable cascade of hoppy aromas with hints of fruitiness coupled with subtlety and sheer richness.
When savoured, the first sip is light and intriguing. The next impression is one of a slight bitterness full of captivating nuances. When it hits the palate, Grand Cru creates a lingering moment of hoppiness, rounded off by an intense yet pleasant bitterness.

Aroma: spices, fruits, malts, belgian yeast and little bit of hops. Taste: sweet yellow fruits, belgian yeast, spices, herbs. Nice head, poor lacing and high crbonation.

the aroma is malty and fruity with shades of orange, yeast, dry wine and candy... the taste is fruity and malty with notes of sweet orange, dry wine, toffee, candy and some garden berries... sweet, dry and warming aftertaste...

Pours in a light gold colour with a small white foam that sticks nicely to the body of the beer. Light body with a thin texture but pretty carbonized. Notes of smooth, full sweet hops in the first tastes, after that more subtle but sharp notes of bitterness; fruits like lemon and lime. Hints of sparkling wine near the finish

0.33 bottle. A clear gold color and a small, white head. Aroma is obviously heavily marked with Belgian yeasts but also a surprising amount of hops, some butter, white bread, and honey. The beer tastes of yeasts, pale malts, and an unfortunate touch of metal. A medium body, a slick texture, and a soft carbonation. Finish is long and much bitterer - peculiar. All in all the beer is just fine - should be improved.

Great palate, better than flavor; alcoholic nose previaling at first, but banished ahead to give way to a bready taste. Getting better wit every sip, a curious settlement is formed. bread, cereal, dough,

Obfita, gruba, biała piana, która szybko opada do mięsistych chmurek. Barwa słomkowa, klarowna, ze spora ilością bąbelek. W aromacie zioła, kwiaty, biszkopty i troszkę starego chmielu. W smaku dość słodkie, mamy powtórkę z zapachu plus jasne winogrona, rodzynki i sporą pikantność w afterteasie. Goryczka niska do średniej, ziołowa.

33 cl bottle. Frothy foam upon pouring, settles to lingering thin layer. Fantastic aroma, fruity, inviting. Rolls on the tongue elegantly, wonderful. Taste is rich, satisfying. Excellent beer in all respects.

opalescent pale yellow colour, huge, long lasting, slightly yellowish white head; aroma of apricot, orange zest, overripe tangerine, earthy-wine cellary notes and some floral honey; taste is the same with some medicinal-alcoholic notes; great Belgian strong ale!

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a slighty hazy gold with a huge pillow head that lingers throughout. Fruity esters, green apple, pear and citrus with a lovely Belgian yeast character on the nose. Some light funk as it warms as well. Clean and crisp on the palate with a little creaminess. Bitter, but also a fermented sweetness, like overripe fruit. Warming finish that is bitter and fruity. Very nice.

Hazy apricot with a large white head that dissipates quickly. Smell is quite sweet and distinctive. Bright, slightly sour smell with herbaceous notes. Smells like an exotic fruit cocktail that reminds me of POG (papaya, orange, guava). Hints of banana and strawberry. As it opens up more spices are revealed. Clove, cardamom. Richer on the palate than the nose lets on. Starts with a wave of sweet, grainy malts that transition into a burnt caramel mid-palate and ending with alcoholic heat, dry hops and burnt spices. The flavor lacks some of the fruity subtlety found on the nose and its sharp bitter finish is somewhat unpleasant. As the beer warms up a mellow chewy caramel quality breaks down the initial bitterness, and some of the warming spices open up. Would pair very well with a creamy goat cheese.
